Baby Daddy and his baby mama? and AHS has its eyes on the prize! |
January 15th, 2014 under American Horror Story, Baby Daddy, Freeform, Kathy Bates. [ Comments: none ]

Baby Daddy is back on ABC Family tonight at 8:30p and it picks up the morning after the season finale.
Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) is dealing with having his daughter’s mother, who was a one night stand, suddenly back in the picture and also starting a relationship with his best friend Riley (Chelsea Kane), who has been in his life forever. Who will he choose? And does either woman really want him in their life now that the other one is there?
Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) is feeling out the woman, who left her granddaughter on Ben’s doorstep. What will she find out about her?
Tucker (Tahj Mowry) and Danny (Derek Theler) are both single men now and they are hitting the town. Will they meet Mrs Right?
Oh did I mention at one point in the episode we will see Bilodeau completely naked? That is why this show is called Baby Daddy. Because you will say “baby” and “daddy” when you see him in just his birthday suit!
But seriously, Baby Daddy gets funnier with each season and tonight’s season premiere will leave with more than smile on your face.
We are getting close to the end of American Horror Story: Coven and tonight at 10p, the show has its sights on the finale.
Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) is back and we find out how she became the way she is. A new witch claims that she is the Supreme as another one goes missing. Have you figured out who is the next Supreme?
There will be blood, lots and lot of blood. So if you are squeamish, you have been warned. Seriously, I am not squeamish and even I had my hands over my eyes a few times.
And since tonight’s episode is really setting things up for the finale in two weeks, you don’t want to miss a single second.

It’s Benson vs her worst case on SVU and Stevie Nicks is on AHS! |
January 8th, 2014 under American Horror Story, Dick Wolf, NBC. [ Comments: none ]
|
Tonight at 9p on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) comes face to face again with William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber) in court and its like reliving her horrible nightmare when he kidnapped and tortured her all over again.
As much prep as they can give Liv, they still can’t prepare her for what she is about to go to. At first it seems like things will be semi-tame because Lewis has a lawyer; but when he fires her and decides to argue the case for himself things will be so much worse for everyone. He will cross-examine everyone to the point where they are about to crack. And as bad as it is for all of them, it will be so much worse when he confronts Benson on the stand.
The interaction between Hargitay and Lewis is so intense that you can feel it through the TV screens. If these two actors don’t get Emmy nominations for the work they have done together this season, then there is really something wrong with the academy. They take acting to a whole other level when they work together that you can’t help but be impacted by their portrayals of the situations given to them.
Now when it comes to will Lewis finally be convicted for one of the crimes that he has committed, you will just have to tune into this very powerful episode to find out.
Then at 10p switch the dials over to FX to watch Stevie Nicks make her debut on American Horror Story: Coven.
If you thought the last episode of AHS was crazy, it is tame compared to tonight’s deadly episode.
The episode picks up with Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) and Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) having tea and talking about what went down at her shop and having a truce between to the covens. Shortly after being welcomed in, Laveau goes to sleep and wakes up to her master, Papa (Lance Redderick), wanting to collect what she owes him. That item due is an innocent soul, so she steals a newborn baby from the hospital.
Meanwhile Fiona is prepping for the new Supreme and since she thinks it is Misty Day (Lily Rabe) she brings her a present. That gift is a fellow witch and Day’s idol, Stevie Nicks. The singer performs for her, gives her tips and a shawl that she has toured the world with. The last thing is something that she will hold very close to her.
While most people think that Day is the next Supreme, Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts) and Nan (Jamie Brewer) both think that they are the next in line for the job. By the end of the night at least one of the candidates will be dead.
Think you know? You don’t, so tune in to watch this shocking episode that sets things up for the season finale.

Tonight’s AHS: Coven makes you cringe, laugh, gasp, cry and cringe some more! |

Tonight’s American Horror Story: Coven on FX at 10p is possibly the best episode of the show’s run to date. I don’t know how to describe it without spoiling it.
Let’s see, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) gets her sight back. I won’t tell you how, but I will tell you I watched the scene with my hands over my eyes.
Well the episode is called Head and it is referring to what happened to Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) in the last episode. Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) somehow gets a hold of it and she gets to do with it whatever she wants to. Think you know? You don’t, but it is they type of moment that will have you clapping for Queenie when it is revealed.
We learn more about the witch hunters tonight and they are planning attack. Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) wants a truce with Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) to fight the witch hunters, but the Voodoo Queen wants nothing to do with the Supreme. Will that be a costly mistake for both women?
Some other information about tonight’s episode; someone gets revenge, someone(s) die, someone gets a new dog, someone learns a lesson, someone learns the truth about someone they love and someone learns that Voodoo dolls are real and can be used to hurt you.
I normally don’t get all girly when I watch anything horror related, but tonight’s episode had me under the covers. There are moments that are extremely shocking, moments that are funny, moments that are powerful and one moment that will have you saying, “I have to wait until January 7th to find out what happens next. Are they kidding me?” Well the last one comes at the very end when you realize that is how long we have to wait for an all-new episode.
So I hope I didn’t tell you too much about tonight’s episode, except be prepared to be shocked…

It’s a nice day to burn a witch on AHS: Coven and Sara flies into Arrow! |
November 6th, 2013 under American Horror Story, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

American Horror Story: Coven has put a spell on all of us and tonight’s episode on FX at 10p is just as bewitching. The episode starts off back in the past and we see what an evil psychopath Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) was in back in her original life. Then we fast forward to today and the Zombies are attacking Miss Robichaux’s Academy. One witch will have the power to make them stop, but only after we get some really cool walking dead action going on. We also find out what happened to Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) after she was attacked by acid in the bathroom. Finally the Counsel has made their decision and one of the witches will be sentenced to be burned at the stake. Think you know will get the Salem treatment, then you have to tune in for another shocking episode that has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning until the end.
FX announced today that Coven’s season finale will be on January 29th and that there will be a fourth season for American Horror Story coming next year. Can’t wait!
At 8p on The CW Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Sara (Caity Lotz) are reunited on Arrow and he has a lot of questions for her since she disappeared that day on the boat. How much will she tell him about it? Not much, but we get to see the flashbacks of where she has been and who she has been with. When Sara’s father’s life is danger, she opts to reveal herself to Quentin Lance and Paul Blackthorne gives a very emotional performance. Lots of interesting reveals on tonight’s episode and you don’t want to miss any of them.

The dead come to life on American Horror Story: Coven tonight! |
October 30th, 2013 under American Horror Story. [ Comments: none ]
|
Tomorrow is Halloween, a day where the dead can come back to life for 24 hours, but they are going to get an early start tonight at 10p on FX’s American Horror Story: Coven.
When somebody close to the Voodoo Queen (Angela Bassett) is murdered, she summons the dead and buried to kill the people who committed the crime. It is something she will do more than once in this episode. Marie Laveau really is someone you don’t want to mess with, but Fiona (Jessica Lange) is the Supreme and she doesn’t care what Marie Laveau can do. Even though both sides have had a truce that was worked out by the last Supreme before Fiona killed her, it looks like it is over and the war is about to start.
But that battle will have to wait because the Council has been summoned to Miss Robichaux’s Academy. They are to find out what happened to Madison (Emma Roberts) because Nan (Jamie Brewer) can no longer hear voice and is convinced she is dead. Myrtle (Frances Conroy), who runs the Council, is convinced Fiona killed her. She will do everything in her power to prove that Fiona has killed more than one witch, but the Supreme is stronger than her.
So will they find out what happened to Madison or will Fiona get away with murder? And yes we do find out what happened to her body…
You will have to tune in for another shocking episode that will make you hate when the episode ends because that is when an already great episode gets even better!
