If you have ever heard Steven Tyler sing, then you know that he can hit some really high notes. In fact, Skittles used his high notes to their advantage when they asked him to do a Super Bowl ad for them.
In the commercial they had someone make a painting of him using just Skittles. When the Aerosmith singer doesn’t like it, he convinces his Dorian Gray to sing his hit Dream On as high as possible. Why? So the picture will shatter into a million rainbow pieces.
Well, the advertisement was so effective that when ITV’s This Morning aired it, it actually cracked the camera’s screen.
If you would’ve told anyone that his octave is high enough to break glass, they would’ve said dream on. But it is. Which pretty gosh darn cool!

On Friday night, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Steven Tyler were guests on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the two of them got to talk while they were waiting to appear on the CBS show. The singer asked the coolest scientist, how old would he be when he returned to Earth after traveling at the speed of light for a year. The answer is, we would all be a year older and he would be about the same age. Which might answer how he continues to look so young even though he is 67 years old.
This video is extremely cool to me because of personal reasons. You see I grew up in a place called Riverdale, NY, and both men lived in my hometown for part of their youths. In fact, both of them went to the same elementary school, years apart from each other, but still they both attended PS 81 (I didn’t) for a while. I wonder if the two of them knew that when they were talking about Space and time? Just think if they did, then they would’ve realized that if the voice of Aerosmith had spent about 15 years in a rocket ship, when he was kid, traveling at the speed of light; then they would’ve been able to go to school together. That is only if Tyler didn’t get expelled again like he did the first time. Can you imagine these two taking Science and Music classes together? The world would be a much different place. Maybe it would be flat like that clueless rapper thinks.
Celebrities wish they could be invisible at times, and the snow is a good way for that. In fact, no matter how old you get, playing in the white stuff is always fun to do. Especially, if you are not the one doing the shoveling. Case in point, Hugh Jackman was pelted with snowballs and lived to talk about it. Justin Theroux became a snow angel when he jumped backwards into the snow. And then there is Snooki, who thought she was back on the Jersey Shore as she dove face first into the snow. All of them had a blast, and were freezing their a$$es off. But it is all worth it because how often to do you have a record breaking snowfall?
UPDATE: Liv Tyler recorded her dad getting buried in the snow. Proving even if you are a grandfather, you can still be a kid! No matter how old Steven Tyler gets, he will always be a kid at heart!
When we think of Steven Tyler and Josh Groban, we think of them as singers. Turns out the two of them like to toot their horns. As in, the in Aerosmith singer blows on a Root Flute, and the baritone likes to wrap his lips on a Didgeridoo. What those two instruments are, I have no idea. But I am sure they make beautiful music with them.
There are rumors that Steven Tyler is well endowed, and now we can tell he has a tongue to match it. I don’t know if I should be awed or horrified by it. I know which way I am leaning. Are you going to dream on about it before you make your decision?
