Steven Tyler was seen on a bicycle with a basket on the front in Chili and I think like the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz when she was riding around Dorothy’s house. I love the Aerosmith singer but that is what he reminded me of here. Make me feel better and tell me you see it to, my Pretties!
Do do do do do, do do do do do. You know that song that plays when we see her as the house is spinning around and around.
Steven Tyler’s dad was a music teacher who had a piano in his Riverdale apartment in The Bronx. While the apartments in our hometown are not that small, a piano is a big piece of beautiful furniture to have in it. In order for his family to have the Baby Grand and the baby in the same place, the Aerosmith singer told Seth Meyers on Late Night that he slept under it when it was baby. That shelter lead to him learning his first language which is music. That most likely explains why he is so good at. If the first letters you hear are from someone tickling the ivories, it is definitely going to shape who you become. That is why he became the man that he is today.
And yes, this a gratuitous post because I squealed when I heard Tyler talk about her hometown. I know his first building oh so well, even though we grew up at different ends of the neighborhood.
The one thing (of many) that I love about Steven Tyler, is that he always ready to charm a woman. For example, tonight he is on Late Night with Seth Meyers with Ali Larter and he brought along a little present for her. Which really was more for him. That is because he gave her some whipped cream to see if she would model that infamous bathing suit she wore in Varsity Blues.
No word if she did, but if she did it would give a whole new meaning to the Aerosmith song Sweet Emotion.
On July 10th, the Rock World was shocked when Joe Perry collapsed on the stage reportedly due to exhaustion and dehydration. We feared for his health and prayed he would once again return to place he loves. Tomorrow, he will do just that as he returns to the stage with Hollywood Vampires in Rohnert Park, CA. What a sweet emotion for Aerosmith fans and fans of music.
