TMZ has confirmed that the home of Suzanne Somers was completely destroyed in a fast-moving fire that also engulfed several other multi-million dollar homes in Malibu. The house, located on Malibu Road, has an estimated value of around $2 to $3 million. The blaze burned near Malibu Colony, one of the area’s original beachfront neighborhoods. The densely built stretch of luxury homes is a favorite of celebrities, and boasts such residents as Mel Gibson, Pierce Brosnan, Pamela Anderson, Barbra Streisand, Ted Danson, David Geffen and Courteney Cox-Arquette.

I can understand why the entertainment news sites and shows are focusing on the celebrity homes, but I just don’t get why the hard news ones are too. So sad for Suzanne Somers.

Linda Blair to guest star on Supernatural |

Question: Supernatural scoop, please!— Liz
Ausiello: Projectile vomit alert! Exorcist icon Linda Blair will show up during November sweeps to bust Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles for, among other things, performing exorcisms! "For two seasons, the guys have been pulling cons and crimes and they’ve always just slipped out of the grasp of police," says series creator Eric Kripke. "Well, the police finally catch up with them in a big way, and Linda plays the detective who is put on their case." Interesting footnote: This bit of stunt casting was actually orchestrated by the folks over at Extra as part of their new "A Star is Reborn" feature, where they attempt to jumpstart the careers of hasbeens professionally challenged individuals.
What a perfect match! I can not wait for this show and at least now that The WB is dead, the show will not be WBified like Charmed and Smallville!

Everybody Loves Raymond Emmy winner Brad Garrett and his wife of seven years, Jill Diven, quietly divorced a year ago, he tells USA Today.Garrett, 46, says that he and Diven had kept their split a secret from his coworkers and even his parents for the past year, and that he and his ex – whom he considers "an extraordinary woman" and "the greatest mom in the world" – are on good terms. They have two children, Max, 7, and Hope, 6. "Our No. 1 focus is our kids and parenting," Garrett tells the paper. "We will always be friends because we will never be single parents. We will always be two parents." Still, he says, "You can’t stay together for the kids, because kids know everything. Sure, it’s daunting to have Daddy move out, but when he’s back two days later, and he gives Mom a hug, and everyone goes to lunch – that’s what it’s about."

And if he did not have a show launching any day would anyone care?

Doyle Brunson’s comedy roast overheated Thursday, after emcee Brad Garrett’s vulgar zingers sent Pamela Anderson storming out of a Bellagio ballroom. On a night when no one was safe from f-bombs, ethnic slurs and below-the-belt slams, Garrett gave Anderson the worst of it.Things got tense when a member of Anderson’s entourage yelled at Garrett as Anderson walked off the dais after making the short speech of the night."When are you going to get funny, Brad?" a member of Anderson’s entourage yelled as she headed for the door,"Come on," huffed Garrett, calling out the heckler. "When you’re done shooting up, we’ll go toe to toe."As Anderson, who is getting married today on the French Riviera, and her handlers left, Garrett referred to the heckler as "Tommy Lee’s afterbirth."Lee, Motley Crue’s drummer, is Anderson’s ex-husband.Sources tell me Garrett was asked by Anderson’s people before the roast to "lay off" her. Garrett, who was a co-star on the long-running "Everybody Loves Raymond," wasted no time in targeting Anderson’s famous curves and her headline-grabbing sexploits. Near the end of the roast, Garrett introduced MGM Mirage honcho Bobby Baldwin and added that he hoped he hadn’t ruined his headlining career in Las Vegas. "I can’t speak for the others, but you’re done at least for our properties," said Baldwin, putting on his best poker face.A source in Anderson’s camp said, "It was agreed by the promoters, the comedy writers and Brad’s agent and management that Pam would not be made the subject of the roast." Anderson was in Las Vegas to launch her pamelapoker.com Web site in conjunction with Brunson’s doylesroom.com.An e-mailed request for a response from Garrett’s camp was not returned by deadline.
