The Rock is a Gd
June 8th, 2022 under DC Comics, The Rock. [ Comments: none ]

The first trailer is out for Black Adam, and The Rock is not your typical superhero. He is still DJ, but he is Godlike now.

Find out on October 21st if he will be our destroyer or our savior. I think he will be the latter, but he will cause a lot of destruction getting there.

When it comes to the movie in general, I think it will be a PG-13 version of Deadpool. And, that is fine with me.

Oh, and it is nice that DC Universe is finally doing a movie that is light, as in it would be so dark I can’t see what is going on on the screen. Am I the only person who hates that?

Even though The CW just started its season, they already know which shows they want back in the Fall. They are All American, Batwoman, Charmed, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, In The Dark, Legacies, Nancy Drew, Riverdale, Roswell, New Mexico, and Walker.

“Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” said Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO, The CW Network.

It has already been announced that this will be Supergirl and Black Lightning’s final season.

Another show not on the list is Superman & Lois, which debuts on February 23rd. However, that DC Arrowvers show and Walker both got additional episodes for this season.

Wonder Woman came out this weekend, and it did great numbers for HBO Max and the post-COVID-19 box office. So much so, Warner Bros announced that they ordered a third movie written and directed by Patti Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot.

“As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of Wonder Woman 1984, we are excited to be able continue her story with our real life Wonder Women – Gal and Patty – who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy,” said Toby Emmerich, Chairman, Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

How do you think they will end it? And can we get an Asteria movie starring Lynda Carter?

Supergirl is flying into the sunset at the end of season six
September 22nd, 2020 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

The CW announced today that season six of Supergirl will be its last. Melissa Benoist, who is expecting her first child, wrote how she feels about the DC Universe show ending.

To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement. Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless.

She’s had that impact on me, too. She’s taught me strength I didn’t know I had, to find hope in the darkest of places, and that we are stronger when we’re united. What she stands for pushes all of us to be better. She has changed my life for the better, and I’m forever grateful.

I’m so excited that we get to plan our conclusion to this amazing journey, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store. I promise we’re going to make it one helluva final season. ♥️ el mayarah 💪 @supergirlcw

I guess you can say that ratings were the show’s kryptonite.

Are you sad that Supergirl is ending, or did you think it has been a long time coming?
