So, like many people, I have a Swiftie that I love in my life. Therefore, whenever there is something about Taylor Swift in the news, I have to share it with her…and you.
So here is today’s Taylor news. The singer will be doing a sit-down interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on October 6th to promote her album, The Life of a Showgirl, which comes out on October 3rd.
Even though she is promoting new music, she will not be performing on the NBC late night show, which seems odd to me.
Personally, if I were her people, I would have booked her to go Day Drinking with Seth Meyers on Late Night. Everyone who does that comes off as endearing because you get to see them be who they really are, as compared to performing for an interview.
Before Charlie Sheen was spending time in jail in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, he was beginning his life of crime in The Execution of Private Slovik. How cute was the 8-year-old in that 1974 movie?
Last month, the producer of Air Bud announced they were looking for their new star, and today they announced who will be the next basketball-playing Golden Retrievers. That is plural because two Goldens were given the golden opportunity.
Over 5,000 dogs were submitted for the title role, and Charlie from Ohio and Summer from San Diego scored a slam dunk with producer Robert Vince.
In Air Bud Returns, 12-year-old Jacob has always dreamt of being a star basketball player. After the passing of his father, that dream felt even more impossible. But everything changes when he and his mom move into his dad’s childhood home in Fernfield. There, Jacob discovers an original VHS of the Air Bud movie in his father’s belongings and has a chance meeting of a neglected golden retriever he names Buddy. Together, they embark on a journey of healing, unite a team of misfits, and chase a championship. Through it all they learn to play from the heart, believe in each other, and always take the shot!
The Goldens are being trained for their on-camera debut and will hit the basketball court in Vancouver on October 1st.
Their movie, which is the 15th one in the franchise, is expected to be released late next year.
ABC picked up 9-1-1: Nashville without a pilot and has kept the details of the latest show in the franchise a secret.
Not anymore. Today, they released the first trailer for the drama, and now we know a little more about it.
Unlike 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star, it appears to be equal parts physical and mental disaster. Meaning, they will lead first responder lives during the day, and scandalous lives at night. Mix that in with the backdrop of Music City, and I am hooked like a hook on a firetruck!
The newest 9-1-1 debuts on October 9th. Will you be watching?
