Dancing with the Stars’ Jan Ravnik puts Jennifer Affleck to work
September 22nd, 2025 under Dancing with the Stars. [ Comments: none ]

Taylor Swift’s dancer, Jan Ravnik, who was a fan favorite on her Eras tour, joined Dancing with the Stars this season, and he was teamed up with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jennifer Affleck.

Since it is his first season, he is trying out different techniques. For example, here he is testing out the Mr. Miyagi. Instead of wax on, wax off, it is wipe up, wipe down with your head.

Not sure how that will help her with her dancing. I guess we will have to tune in tomorrow to find out.

Tom Holland suffered a concussion on the Spider-Man set
September 21st, 2025 under Superman/Spider-Man. [ Comments: none ]

Tom Holland was rushed to the hospital on Friday when he cracked his head while filming a stunt scene for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While he was there, he was diagnosed with a mild concussion and will need a few weeks off from the movie to recuperate, according to The Sun.

His father, Dominic Holland, confirmed that his son will need some time during a charity event tonight. His son attended the same event with his fiancée, Zendaya, but they had to leave early because he was not feeling well.

Hopefully, the younger Holland will be better soon and back spinning his web.

James Van Der Beek cancels on the Dawson’s Creek reunion
September 21st, 2025 under Dawsons Creek, James Van Der Beek, Lin-Manuel Miranda. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is the massive Dawson’s Creek reunion, but someone won’t be there. Dawson himself was forced to cancel at the last minute because of an illness.

James Van Der Beek wrote: This is the evening I’d been looking forward to MOST since my angel Michelle Williams said she was putting it together, way back in January…

So you can imagine how gutted I was when two stomach viruses conspired to knock me out of commission and keep me grounded at the worst possible moment.

Despite every effort… I won’t get to be there. I won’t get to stand on that stage and thank every soul in the theater for showing up for me, and against cancer, when I needed it most.

But I DO have an understudy. A ridiculously overqualified replacement who would have been #1 on my wishlist (had I ever dreamed he’d be available). Someone my kids would definitely consider an upgrade over me… Plus, he already knows how to get to the theater. So that’s convenient.

The role of “Dawson”, usually played by James Van Der Beek…

Will be played by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Can’t believe I just got to type that.

Everyone please enjoy all the love in that room. Shine some on my family. I will be beaming and receiving from afar in a bed in Austin.

And thank you @lin_manuel . You were a hero to my kids before… now you’re a demigod

Hopefully, he will be better soon and reunited with his friends from Capeside. Massachusetts, soon.

Every little dance step Marlon Wayans takes in the Spirit Tunnel
September 21st, 2025 under Jennifer Hudson, Wayans Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

Marlon Wayans was on The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote his movie Him, and you know what that means.

That means he had to walk through the Spirit Tunnel to get to the stage. However, no one walks through it; they dance their way through it.

Wayans was no different, especially since the happy crew reworked Bobby Brown’s Every Little Step for him. Even I got my toes tapping. And it got his feet doing a lot more!
