Over the weekend, Halle Berry turned 59. And with age, she had some Words of Wizdumb to share.
Along with the photo of herself in a bikini, she wrote, “We have to get older, but we don’t have to get old ” Amen!
Although if I were aging like her, I would have that same outlook,
Actually, I do. Today, I was talking to a friend because we are collecting Happy Meal toys. She is doing it for fun, and I am doing it for a friend who needs the Hello Kitty/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello ones for her son! Even though both of us have aged out of Happy Meals a long time ago, we are having so much fun opening the boxes to see what toys we got! Thus, proving what the ageless actress wrote!
Before Melissa Gilbert called her father, “pa” on Little House on the Prairie, she called him, “daddy” on Emergency. The 8-year-old gave a powerful performance in that 1972 episode.
We have seen Horror movies with killer dogs, but we have never seen one through the eyes of man’s best friend. However, that is going to change with Good Boy.
Our canine hero, Indy, finds himself on a new adventure with his human owner—and best friend—Todd, leaving city life for a long-vacant family home in the country. From the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant’s grim death. When Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.
Indy is played by director Ben Leonberg’s dog, Indy. The film has been getting such positive reviews since it debuted at SXSW. I would not be surprised if Indy receives an Oscar nomination. Why can’t he be nominated? He is the Best Actor in the feature.
Good Boy will get tails wagging when it plays fetch in theaters on October 3rd.
For decades, Skittles have been either sweet or sour, but now they are also spicy. That is because the chewy candy teamed up with Fuego for tangy, chili-covered sweet gummies.
“At Mars, we’re always paying attention to emerging trends and looking for exciting new ways for our fans to experience SKITTLES,” says Ro Cheng, Vice President, Marketing, Mars Wrigley North America. “With SKITTLES Gummies Fuego, we’re adding some spice to a sweet, original fan favorite, bringing a bold flavor experience that we know ‘swicy’ fans will enjoy.”
Skittles Gummies Fuego comes in five flavors: Mango, Watermelon, Strawberry, Raspberry, and Lemon. They are available starting today exclusively on the TikTok Shop, and then they will hit stores early next year.
Ever since MSNBC launched in 1996, we have known it as that. However, for its 30th anniversary, it is getting a new name.
Later this year, it will go by MS NOW, My Source News Opinion World.
The news network explained, “As part of our move to a new media company, VERSANT — which also includes CNBC, Golf Channel, GolfNow, and SportsEngine — we’ll no longer be part of NBCUniversal and NBC News. This gives us the freedom to chart our own path forward, and we’re excited about where it’s headed.”
While they are excited for the rebranding, I think it sucks. But I am a purist. I still am not a fan of Syfy (Sci-Fi Channel), Freeform (ABC Family), and Paramount TV (Spike).
