Ever since MSNBC launched in 1996, we have known it as that. However, for its 30th anniversary, it is getting a new name.
Later this year, it will go by MS NOW, My Source News Opinion World.
The news network explained, “As part of our move to a new media company, VERSANT — which also includes CNBC, Golf Channel, GolfNow, and SportsEngine — we’ll no longer be part of NBCUniversal and NBC News. This gives us the freedom to chart our own path forward, and we’re excited about where it’s headed.”
While they are excited for the rebranding, I think it sucks. But I am a purist. I still am not a fan of Syfy (Sci-Fi Channel), Freeform (ABC Family), and Paramount TV (Spike).
