Before Sheryl Lee Ralph won her dream Emmy for Abbott Elementary, she starred in Dreamgirls on Broadway. How amazing was the 26-year-old during that 1983 performance.
Shining Vale ended its second season December 1st on Starz. And today, show creator Jeff Astrof announced that Starz ended the paranormal dramedy which starred Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, and Parvesh Cheena.
“This show gave me unrelenting joy to work on. Not a single bad day,” the Executive Producer wrote. “Please watch the #starz (turns out, Limited) series #shiningvale before 12/31. #wearephelps”
If you want to watch the show, you better hurry up because it is going to be pulled from streaming on New Year’s Eve.
Deadline reported that Warner Bros. shopped the series around, but sadly, no one bought it.
On December 6th, Derek Hough’s wife, Hayley Erbert, suffered a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel during a performance in Washington, D.C., and she required an emergency craniectomy.
During that surgery, she had part of her skull removed. And today, she is going to get a skull implant.
“I strongly believe all the prayers that have been sent with the intention and love of Hayley’s recovery has helped so much. I can’t thank you all enough,” The Dancing with the Stars’ head judge wrote. “She is going in for surgery this morning to replace a large portion of her skull that was removed during her Craniectomy. Please keep her in your prayers as I believe the collective energy helped her through these past few weeks. We love you. We thank you.”
I am praying that the operation will go smoothly, and she will continue her road to recovery. So that they can get back on the road and do what they love to do: dance.
Every now and again, YouTube likes to show me Johnny Carson interviews that go in a completely different direction than they were intended to go. And they are a laugh-out-loud riot.
Yesterday, Bradley Cooper was on The Tonight Show, and Jimmy Fallon and he talked about the actor’s 30th high school reunion. That conversation should not have been funny. But for some reason, they couldn’t stop laughing.
It was not Carson-level funny. Not even close. But it should be enough to make Cooper a little more likable after revealing he is a dick of a director who didn’t think people needed to sit between takes of his film Maestro.
