Tonight at 9p on Syfy and USA, we find out how Chucky got himself into the White House.
In fact, it might be the third episode to air this season, but it was actually the second one they filmed. Therefore, we find out how Chucky finagled his way into 1600 Penn and why he chose that as his new home. So, things make a lot more sense.
We also find out what happened in the year since Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) performed the exorcism on Chucky. And that includes Tiffany/Jennifer Tilly going on trial for murder.
Did I mention we also see Lexy’s sister tonight?
And don’t worry, with all of the information we get in this episode, there are also some kills. Because would it be a Chucky episode without someone being killed by the murdering doll?
So buckle up for one helluva ride on Chucky tonight.
Then, at 10p on Syfy, the agents on SurrealEstate need to find out who killed the owner of the house so that they can sell it.
Susan (Sarah Levy) brings a couple into a house, and they are in for quite the surprise. That is because a woman drops from above, and she is hanging from a rope via her neck. Needless to say, the couple doesn’t want the house.
So Susan comes back with Luke (Tim Rozon), and they talk to the dead woman via a special phone. She tells them that she did not commit suicide and that she was murdered.
Therefore, Luke and Susan go back to the office so that they can figure out who she was. By finding that out, they might be able to find her killer. If they do that, then she will be free to move on.
So how do they solve a murder that happened decades ago, and there is only one person still alive who was there? And he is no help.
You are going to have to tune in to find out how this sale ends. That and there are going to be some personnel changes at The Roman Agency.
I am so happy this show is finally back because it is so much fun to watch. And you never know what type of haunted house they are going to try to sell, but you know it is going to be thrilling.
On Monday, Stephen Colbert announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 and would be hosting The Late Show from home. But then yesterday, he said that he was not up for hosting the show.
Today, he gave a further update on his health. “Sorry to say, per doctor’s orders, I’m going to be out for the rest of the week,” he said in his message. “Resting up so that I can deliver the hand crafted, artisanal talk show that we so enjoy serving you. In the meantime, a heady blend of Paxlovid and onions in my socks (thank you, [Jimmy] Fallon) will be rebuilding my immune system.”
I love that Fallon sent him that care package. I wonder what the other members of Strike Force Five are going to send him to get well.
And on that note, I hope it works well, and he is better soon.
Merrily We Roll Along’s Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez sat down with Vanity Fair and did one of their lie detector tests.
Mendez wanted to know from Groff, “You are a notoriously spitty singer. Is that because you want to make sure everyone can see how hard you are singing?” And he told her no.
Then she wanted to know what is his secret to keeping so hydrated. Then he said, “I get wet…” And that is when his two co-stars were like no, don’t go there.
So they asked him again, and again he talked about how he gets wet. Eventually, he settles on drinking a lot of water.
They tried to move on, but he went back to it. And he said he doesn’t think his wet mouth is related to being hydrated. So they wanted to know why he thinks his mouth gets so wet. And he said, “Everything gets wet.” And it is not sweat-related. And at that point, they just gave up.
Poor Jonathan. We know he is a spitter because of Hamilton when he played King George. And we also know something that doesn’t make him wet, and that is seeing his best friend Lea Michele’s vagina. She talked about how she showed it to him because he never saw one.
Tonight at 8p on NBC’s Quantum Leap, Ben (Raymond Lee), the Time Traveler, gets a visit from aliens in 1949. That is because he is a government agent for Project Sign, the project that investigates aliens.
Ben is called out to investigate a single-car crash in Washington where one girl survived, and her friend is in a coma. Carrie (Alison Thornton) tells her grandfather, the sheriff (Louis Herthum), that she saw a light and a strange object in the sky. She swerved to avoid hitting it, and she crashed into a tree. The two girls got out to run from whatever it was, and that was the last thing that Carrie remembered before waking up in the hospital.
Carrie is being accused of attempted murder by her friend’s father, who owns most of the land in the town and beyond. He wants Carrie arrested, and now it is going to be a modern Western with the rich guy and the sheriff.
Ben is going to have to find out what happened to Carrie that night and if aliens really were involved. All while talking to Addison (Caitlin Bassett) and finding out what she has been up to the last three years when he was missing in time.
I loved this episode because it felt like a homage to the original Quantum Leap with Scott Bakula. Ben has a lot more interaction with the people of that time, and there are a lot of Easter Eggs in the episode. What they are, I cannot tell you. But you will enjoy them.
Just like you will enjoy this episode. Seriously, you should be watching this show because it has something for everyone. This week, aliens. Next week, who knows? But you know that Ben will have an adventure that is one for the era!
