What is, this Jeopardy category will be the butt of all jokes!
November 16th, 2023 under Jeopardy, Macaulay Culkin. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, on Celebrity Jeopardy, they had a category that was called Roget’s Butt. What was it about? It was dedicated to synonyms for the word butt!

That’s right. Macaulay Culkin, Rachel Dratch, and Becky Lynch had to think of other words for butt that sound like other things from the clues that were given to them. And yes, one of them was ass.

Luckily for Lynch, she didn’t make an ass of herself with that answer. Unlike the first 60 clues, which she didn’t get or guess any of them correctly. Making her the first player to go 60 clues before getting any correct. Yikes!

Suddenly, I don’t feel as stupid as I did before.

ABC announces when their Fall shows will debut
November 16th, 2023 under ABC. [ Comments: none ]

Due to the strikes, we lost the Fall season. Therefore, those shows will debut in early 2024. Today, ABC announced when their series will be back!

This is not the complete schedule; more shows will be announced in the coming weeks. What won’t be on the lineup this season is the new show High Potential. Its potential is so high it is moving to the 2024-2025 season.

I just have to say whoever programmed this schedule made a few mistakes. Abbott Elementary should launch the Wednesday shows due to it being its biggest comedy. And Station 19 should follow 9-1-1 because it is doing better than Grey’s Anatomy, which is getting close to its natural end. It is not all bad. I think their scheduling for Tuesdays is smart.

MONDAY, JAN. 22
8:00 p.m. “The Bachelor” (two hours)
10:01 p.m. “20/20” (all-new limited edition true-crime series, title to be announced)

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 7
8:00 p.m. “The Conners”
8:30 p.m. “Not Dead Yet”
9:00 p.m. “Abbott Elementary” (one-hour premiere)
10:00 p.m. “Judge Steve Harvey”

SUNDAY, FEB. 18
8:00 p.m. “American Idol” (two hours)
10:00 p.m. “What Would You Do?”

TUESDAY, FEB. 20
8:00 p.m. “Will Trent”
9:00 p.m. “The Rookie”
10:00 p.m. “The Good Doctor”

THURSDAY, MARCH 14
8:00 p.m. “9-1-1”
9:00 p.m. “Grey’s Anatomy”
10:00 p.m. “Station 19”

Snoop Dogg says he is quitting ‘smoke’
November 16th, 2023 under Snoop Dogg. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of the biggest pot smokers in entertainment, you think of Willie Nelson, Seth Rogen, and Snoop Dogg. However, one of them announced today that he is giving it up.

“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” Snoop wrote. “Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Is he really quitting marijuana? I am not sure. It feels like a stunt to me. Like maybe it is for a reality show or marketing a new product. Although, he could be doing a Willie Nelson and switching to edibles.

Do you think he is really giving up smoke?

Ted and John’s origon story is coming to Peacock
November 16th, 2023 under Peacock, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

In 2012, we fell in love with the foul-mouthed, horny, pot-smoking Teddy Bear Ted. And now he is back on Peacock for seven glorious episodes, which are the prequel to the two Seth MacFarlane movies. Yes, folks, MacFarlane will continue to voice his genius creation.

It’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s (MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.

Ted debuts on January 11th.

Now Blumhouse wants us to be scared of Teddy Bears
November 16th, 2023 under Blumhouse. [ Comments: none ]

Blumhouse started the year off by making us afraid of lifelike robots named M3GAN. Now, they are ending the year with the trailer with the terrifying Teddy Bear Chauncey, who is an Imaginary friend.

When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

What did toys do to Jason Blum when he was a kid? Because he likes making kids afraid of the things they have in their rooms?

Imaginary comes out on March 8th. So we have a little over two months to hide all of the Teddy Bears in our homes.
