Luke meets his mom on SurrealEstate
November 22nd, 2023 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on Syfy’s SurrealEstate, Luke (Tim Rozon) finally meets his estranged mom. He has not seen her since he was 3 years old. What happens when they are finally reunited?

He is not the only one who is going through things tonight. Lomax (Elena Juatco), who is new to the Roman Agency, sold a house to a very nice family. However, they have a dark secret, one that will cause her to render her resignation.

Talking about resignations. Zooey (Savannah Basley) goes to Susan’s house, and it lets her in. What happens when she goes inside? Will it hold her captive like it is holding Susan?

You are just going to have to tune in to find out in an episode that is more heart than paranormal. And that is a good thing.

Daryl Hall can’t go for that from John Oates
November 22nd, 2023 under Hall & Oates. [ Comments: none ]

I woke up to some sad news today. Daryl Hall and John Oates are fighting. Things have gotten so bad between them that Hall is suing Oates and asked for a temporary restraining order against his former duet partner.

However, no one knows what the case is about because it is sealed at the Nashville Chancery Court. But TMZ thinks it has something to do with breach of contract.

If these two can’t make it work after 55 years, what chance do the rest of us have?

Will there be a Toy Story 5 with Tim Allen and Tom Hanks?
November 22nd, 2023 under Jimmy Fallon, Tim Allen. [ Comments: none ]

Do you want another Toy Story movie with the original Buzz Lightyear and Woody voicing their roles? Well, Tim Allen gave a promising update to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show yesterday.

Allen said that Bob Iger, the head of Disney, said it is happening. Tom Hanks and Allen have gotten the phone call asking them to reprise their roles. And one of the writers, who wrote one of the better films in the franchise, said he wouldn’t do it unless he got it right.

So, it sounds like our favorite toys are coming to life again.

Tell me in the comments if this news makes you happy.

Amber Ruffin and Jenny Hagel did Seth Meyers dirty
November 22nd, 2023 under Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday was the 50th edition of Jokes Seth Can’t Tell on Late Night. To honor the milestone, Amber Ruffin and Jenny Hagel decided to change things up. Instead of them, reading the punchlines, they had their boss, Seth Meyers, tell jokes about African Americans and lesbians.

And they didn’t share this information with him until they started the segment that was going to be the case.

How did it go? As bad for Meyers as you expected! But he did his best with each gulp of champagne.

Maybe it is because I am a sadist, but I hope they keep this format every time they do this bit.

Has Lily ever watched The Price is Right?
November 22nd, 2023 under The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

The Price is Right has been on for over 50 years. So you would think everyone has seen at least one episode with their grandparent.

Well, not everyone. Lily was told to come on down, and she made it to The Big Wheel.

While it was spinning around, Drew Carey asked her if she wanted to say hi to anyone. So she said hi to her family in Florida.

Finally, the wheel stopped, and the host told her she made it to the Showcase round. She asked him, “What happened?” He told her she won. Then she wanted to know, “Won what?” He explained that she is going on to the Showcase round. Still clueless, “What is that?” At this point, Carey gave up and told her, “It’s at the end of the show. You’ll find out!”

Finally, she started to get excited about winning whatever she won. Then, she stood next to Carey and asked, “Stand her still?”

And since I didn’t watch the episode, I am assuming she is still standing there.

And this is what happens if someone is giving out tickets to be on a show to a wannabe actress in Glendale. They just want to be on TV and don’t know how to fake it for game shows.

I hope we get more of this. Oh, Glendale is our Florida.
