So I was scrolling through my feed on Facebook, and I saw pretty colors. So, I had to stop and read what the post was all about.

US National Weather Service Peachtree City, Georgia, wrote, “Can these crayons take the heat? We glued them to a board so they couldn’t escape, then left them outside.”

HBO puts The Idol out of our misery
August 28th, 2023 under HBO Max, The Weeknd. [ Comments: none ]

The Idol is one of the most hated new shows of the year. So what I am about to tell you won’t surprise you. HBO cancelled the series that starred The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp after one season.

“The Idol was one of HBO’s most provocative original programs, and we’re pleased by the strong audience response,” an HBO spokesperson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “After much thought and consideration, HBO, as well as the creators and producers have decided not to move forward with a second season. We’re grateful to the creators, cast, and crew for their incredible work.”

Incredible work? Who the fuck are they kidding? It was shit. The Weeknd sucked. And he wasn’t even the worst one. That title goes to Hank Azaria. His fake Israeli accent was beyond dreadful, as was his acting.

The only positive parts were Depp and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

You know, I wonder if the series would have gotten a second season if they had gone with the original concept and not listened to The Weeknd’s vision. It was a mistake like his ego. So, I guess you can say he played himself—someone with an ego who has nothing to back it up.

A Nightmare on Elm Street mini-Reunion
August 28th, 2023 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1984, Heather Langenkamp and Amanda Wyss fought Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street. However, only one of them made it to the credits to fight the dream killer two more times.

While that was in the movie, in real life, the two actresses who played friends are still friends. And here are the two of them hanging out and having some fun at the Mad Monster Expo this weekend.

They look so great that their beauty could kill Freddy in his nightmares.

Has Ed Sheeran hit hard times?
August 28th, 2023 under Ed Sheeran, Hard times. [ Comments: none ]

Ed Sheeran is on tour. Yet, he was seen working at Starbucks as a barista in Seattle. So, has the chart-topping singer hit hard times?

Nope. He just found a way to promote his upcoming album. You see, it is called Autumn Variations, and Starbucks just released the taste of Autumn, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. So he thought it would be the perfect way to promote his record while promoting their drinks of the season. And he was right.

Plus, if you are in Seattle, do what Seattleians do. Do Starbucks.

Autumn Variations comes out on September 29th.

Back to Sheeran. I love that he hangs out with locals at his different stops. He sang karaoke in Nashville, worked at a Lego Store in Minneapolis, and now this. What will he do next? We find out soon enough.

Elton John hospitalized over a fall
August 28th, 2023 under Elton John. [ Comments: none ]

Elton John fell over the weekend in his Mont Boron villa outside of Nice, France, and spent the night in the hospital.

“Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure,” his rep said. “Following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back home and in good health.”

This is not his first fall. The same happened to the 76-year-old singer in the summer of 2021. Back then, “he fell awkwardly on a hard surface”, and surgery was required to relieve his considerable pain. And due to the injury, he postponed his final tour for almost two years.

Hopefully, he will be better soon.
