Nicolas Cage has done comedies. He has also done action films where he goes around killing people. And on August 25th, he is going to combine the two when he stars in The Retirement Plan.
When Ashley (Ashley Greene) and her young daughter Sarah (Thalia Campbell) get caught up in a criminal enterprise that puts their lives at risk, she turns to the only person who can help: her estranged father Matt (Cage), currently living the life of a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands. Their reunion is fleeting as they are soon tracked down on the island by crime boss Donnie (Jackie Earle Haley) and his lieutenant Bobo (Ron Perlman). As Ashley, Sarah, and Matt become entangled in an increasingly dangerous web, Ashley quickly learns her father had a secret past that she knew nothing about and that there is more to her father than meets the eye.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see this movie. I already watched the trailer ten times.

Back in the ’70s and ’80s, boys were enjoying watching The Facts of Life, The Carol Burnett Show, and The Jeffersons. However, they never saw Mindy “Natalie” Cohn, Vicki “Mama” Lawrence, and Marla “Florence” Gibbs together.
Over the weekend, a few of them had their wet dream become a reality because the three actresses attended Fanboy Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee, and we got this photo!

Anthony Michael Hall has been acting since he was a kid. And now he is taking on his greatest role ever. On June 1st, he and his wife, Lucia Hall, welcomed their first child, a big baby boy who came into the world weighing 9 lbs., 7 oz.
The actor, 55, told People, “We have a big boy. In between his breastfeeding, I get to give him his bottles, and I can tell you, this kid has some appetite. He was born 9 lbs, 7 oz. at Cedars Sinai, and we were there for four days. And fortunately, when we came back home the next day, he just connected with mom and she’s been feeding him and taking care of him, as have I, ever since.”
The couple met on the film War Machine in 2017, got engaged in 2019, and tied the knot a year later.
Congrats to the new parents. Hopefully, their son will grow up and know not to share a girl’s underwear in the high school bathroom. Because if he does, he will have to spend his Saturdays in detention with The Breakfast Club!
