Hoda Kotb and Al Roker definitely earned their payday today from Today.
That is because the weatherman asked the television audience if they wanted to see him eat a Payday bar, and they said “absolutely.” Since he wasn’t going to do it by himself, he asked his co-anchor to do it with him. So, they each put their mouth on one end of the candy bar and bit down.
And it reminded us of that sweet moment from Lady and the Tramp when they share a string of spaghetti.
You have to love live television because you never know what is going to happen.
There is not a lot to do in the Valley if you come to LA. However, one of the cool things to do is go on a tour at the Warner Bros Lot. And while you are there, you can see the Friends’ couch and water fountain. Of course, if you are a tourist, you are going to take photos with the artifacts.
Courteney Cox knew that. And since she was on the lot filming, she decided to have some fun with the fans. So while they posed for a photo on the couch, she would jump up behind them and pose with them.
The fans had no idea she did that until the photographer showed them the photo with their surprise guest. And they loved it because they got the ultimate tour experience. They got so excited some of them even cried happy tears.
And now, fans who do the tour will be checking behind the couch to see if Monica Geller is there!
CBS recently picked up a slew of their series, but Blue Bloods wasn’t on the list. Therefore, I was thinking the show that stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray was going to get cancelled. Thankfully, I was wrong because the network picked it up for a 14th season today.

Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are two of the biggest names in Country music. But they have never worked together until now. On May 11th, they are going to host The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards on Prime Video.
Brook said of his co-host, “Anyone with Dolly Parton makes a fantastic couple.”
“I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth,” said Parton. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together.”
And I am sure every artist in that auditorium can’t believe their two icons are going to be up on the stage hosting the show.
Parton said she is going to debut a single from her Rock album at the show. But I would rather she did a duet with Brooks. Although, if it is Rock, maybe it should be with Chris Gaines. Remember him?
On January 1st, Jeremy Renner was in a near-fatal accident with his 7-ton snowplow trying to save his nephew who was in the machinery’s path. Now, nearly four months later, he is talking to Diane Sawyer about the day that changed his life forever.
They discuss all of the bones he broke, including eight ribs, both ankles, a kneecap, a tibia, a clavicle, a shoulder, an eye socket, and his jaw. Because most of his body was crushed, he thought he was just going to be a spine and a brain.
He told Sawyer, “I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.”
With all that he has gone through and is going through, would he go through it all again? Yes, he would to save his nephew. And his nephew told Sawyer that he thought his uncle was dead when he saw all of that blood.
Instead of giving up that day, he “chose to live.” And now he sees himself as “a lucky man.”
