How many Backstreet Boys does it take to do laundry? |
November 28th, 2022 under Backstreet Boys /Aaron Carter. [ Comments: none ]

The Backstreet Boys are the spokesband for Downey Rinse and Refresh, so you would assume that they would know how to do laundry. And you would be wrong.
Today they shared a video of Nick Carter, AJ McLean, and Brian Littrell attempting to do the wash, and they failed. It is not their fault. They have been rocking since they were teens and had people do it for them. So they never learned how. Much to the annoyance of their wives.
And where are their wives, aren’t they supposed to tell their Boys that they are not supposed to wear white after Labor Day? If they are going to do so, maybe they should be the spokesband for Clorox Beach so they can keep their whites white.
Oh, and the answer to the question is, in this case, four, three singers and someone who knows how to wash clothes.

Before Irene Cara told us to remember her name, and we did, pre-Fame, she got her start on Electric Company. How electric was the 12-year-old singing in that 1971 episode?

This Bambi movie will be scarier than his mother’s death |

If you were traumatized by Bambi’s mother’s death scene when you saw it, then be prepared for your childhood nightmares to become even worse as an adult.
Jagged Edge Productions, the company who is bringing us the horror movie Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey, is working on Bambi: The Reckoning.
Producer Scott Jeffrey told Dread Central, “The film will be an incredibly dark retelling of the 1928 story we all know and love. Finding inspiration from the design used in Netflix’s The Ritual, Bambi will be a vicious killing machine that lurks in the wilderness. Prepare for Bambi on rabies!”
Why? I am still not over the death of Bambi’s mom. How am I supposed to handle our favorite deer becoming ravenous? Although, the other part of me can’t wait to show these movies to my young nieces. Why should I go to my therapy sessions alone?
Filming begins in January for the killer Bambi movie.
I am afraid to ask what is next for JEP because I am sure they will find a way to destroy another one of our sweet childhood memories. Maybe they can go after Barney, Teletubbies, and/or Blue’s Clues, with Steve reprising his role?!?

This is how Thing came to life in Wednesday |
November 28th, 2022 under Jenna Ortega, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Jenna Ortega is phenomenal in Wednesday, but what about her co-star who plays Thing? He is just a hand, or is he? Netflix Memes shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the series, and there is a whole body that goes with the hand.
Victor Dorobantu is the man behind the appendage. And the actor was part of the scenes he was in; he was just hidden.
I love that they used a human to play the part and didn’t just CGI him like so many other projects do. That is why Thing is so realistic in the series. It is because he is real.

Nicole Kidman spent $100,000 on Hugh Jackman’s hat |
November 28th, 2022 under Broadway, Hugh Jackman, Keith & Nicole Urban. [ Comments: none ]

Fellow Australians Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman are not only former co-stars, but they are also friends.
So it should come as no surprise that the actress came out to see her mate on Saturday in The Music Man on Broadway. However, what is surprising is that it cost her six digits. Not the price of a seat, which comes close to that, but on auction he held after the show for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a charity that helps people across the country and across the street receive lifesaving medications, health care, nutritious meals, counseling, and emergency financial assistance.
Jackman auctioned off the hat he was wearing to the audience and was surprised to hear Kidman bid $100,000 for it. Her donation will be used to pay for 20,000 meals and 2,000 doctor visits this holiday season!
Today, I tip my $10 (because that is all I can afford) hat in honor of the two generous actors who have been friends for 30 years and counting.
