Before Sadie Sink didn’t know if the sun would come out tomorrow on Stranger Things, she was singing that it would when she starred in Annie. Boy, could the 11-year-old sing in 2013 when she was on Broadway.
Tears for Fears is back ruling the world on tour, but they had to cancel some shows. That is because “Curt [Smoit] has unfortunately injured his rib and is unable to perform.”
That statement was released on Saturday, and today the band announced that they will be postponing their next gig due to his injury.
Hopefully, Smith will be better soon, and they will be back to ruling this mad world.
UPDATE: Tears for Fears announced they will be canceling or postponing the next three concerts due to Curt Smith’s injury.
“We sadly are unable to perform at this week’s shows in Leeds, Warwick, and Scarborough. We are so disappointed and gutted not to be able to play these concerts,” the statement read. “Curt is following doctors orders and is doing everything possible to heal and be performing again soon.”
Joseph Quinn won our hearts over in the first part of Stranger Things season 4 as Eddie Munson. Then he blew our minds when he rocked out to Metallica’s Master of Puppets in a moment that won’t soon be forgotten.
Before he picked up the guitar for that scene, he had to practice. The writers shared two videos of him playing like his life depended on it. And wow! Metallica could learn a thing from him.
That is why we love the actor and hope that someone gives him a new show ASAP.
When the revival of Funny Girl announced that Beanie Feldstein was going to play Fanny Brice on Broadway, there were a lot of people who wondered why Lea Michele didn’t get the role.
Ever since Michele sang Don’t Rain on My Parade on Glee, it seemed like it was her role to lose, and she lost it.
Then yesterday, Feldstein announced that she was leaving the show earlier than her September departure because the musical was changing directions. After her announcement, the show said they would reveal her replacement today.
Who is it? It is Lea Michele. “A dream come true is an understatement,” the actress wrote. “I’m so incredibly honored to join this amazing cast and production and return to the stage playing Fanny Brice on Broadway. See you September 6th.”
Hopefully, her dream won’t turn into a nightmare. I think if she doesn’t play to sell-out crowds, I wouldn’t be surprised if the show closes during her run. Yikes.
When it comes to who will be playing Brice between August 1st and September 5th, that person is Julie Benko. Benko has been getting a lot of praise in the role. Unlike the person who was hired to play it.
Now that Pete Davidson is dating Kim Kardashian, his body needs to be as smooth as a baby’s butt. So, he has signed on to be the new face, I mean head, of Manscaped for the next four years.
Just when you thought we got rid of him, we found out his not going anywhere anytime soon.
