Charlie Puth says that Left and Right came to him in a dream
July 12th, 2022 under Charlie Puth. [ Comments: none ]

The response to Charlie Puth’s latest single Left and Right with BTS’s Jungkook has been a dream. And that could be because it came to Puth while he was sleeping on January 28th.

The singer heard the melody to that tune in the middle of a dream, so he woke up at 3a and recorded it on his piano.

Puth kept the recording, and it is part of the single. However, you need to have special earphones to hear it.

Post Malone writes on the porcelain throne, and Puth in his dreams. I wonder what other strange locations and situations musicians come up with the music we know them for.

Tom Selleck thinks men should wear short shorts
July 12th, 2022 under Kelly Clarkson, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s, Tom Selleck wore short shorts on Magnum P.I. Since then; they have gotten longer. The actor told Kelly Clarkson that h thinks that they look silly because they are called shorts, not pajama bottoms.

I have to say, I agree with the Blue Bloods actor. However, I might regret that statement because there are men who should not be wearing short shorts. You know which ones I am talking about.

The Rock is catching the sharks for Shark Week
July 12th, 2022 under DIscovery Networks/Discovery+, The Rock. [ Comments: none ]

If ever there was a celeb that could take on the sharks for Shark Week, it is The Rock. Therefore, it makes sense that Discovery Channel asked him to be their first ever Master of Ceremonies.

“I’m honored to be your first-ever Shark Week Master of Ceremonies. Our Seven Bucks Productions has partnered with Discovery to bring you a very special (and bad ass) Shark Week. I filmed exclusively in my home state of Hawaii, these beautiful predators, Aumakua (Gods), are deeply revered and respected in our Polynesian culture,” said Dwayne Johnson.

This year, they are airing 25 original programs starting on July 24th at 8p.

Loot has enough loot for Apple TV+ to give it a second season
July 11th, 2022 under Apple TV+. [ Comments: none ]

So the other day, I was looking for something to watch, and I decided to check out Loot on Apple TV+. After four episodes, I was hooked.

I am not usually a Maya Rudolph fan, but she immediately won me over as Molly Novak, a woman who finds herself suddenly single after her husband (Adam Scott) cheats on her. Oh, and did I mention he is a billionaire, and their divorce makes her the third richest woman in the world.

Just when it seems that she is at her lowest, she gets a call from tough-as-nails Sofia Salinas (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez). Sofia runs Molly’s foundation, which the billionaire has had nothing to do with. However, that is all going to change. Molly is going to change them as much as they are going to change her.

Who are they? There is Sofia, as I mentioned, Arthur (Faxon), who lacks self-confidence and is also recently divorced, Molly’s cousin, the lovable Howard (Funches), and Molly’s personal assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster), who would rather live the lavish lifestyle than work.

They are a mismatched group, but they work amazingly well together. And that is what makes Loot so special.

Therefore, Apple TV+ picked up the series for a second season. It could be because it has found an audience. Or it could be the cliffhangers in the season finale. But I have said too much about that.
