Josh Groban was going to stream his Great Big Radio City Show live on his website starting tonight until the 12th, but he has to postpone it until later this month.

“Hey everyone! Even though the Radio City Livestream is from my performance there 2 months ago, I really wanted to be a part of the evening along with you as well as perform some special songs and Q&A before the airing for those who bought the VIP tickets but…I finally got Covid,” he wrote. “So it’s my turn to say we’re postponing the airing until Friday, June 24th so we can all enjoy it together as intended. Sorry for the inconvenience and I promise it’s worth the wait! For more info head to livestream.joshgroban.com.”

The singer says that he has had symptoms, but tested negative via four rapid and one PCR tests because finally testing positive.

Hopefully, we can raise Grobs up, and he will be feeling better soon.

Oh, my friend saw the concert in person and said it was phenomenal. So if you haven’t gotten tickets to the live stream, here is your chance to get them.

They Might Be Giants’ John Flansburgh broke 7 ribs in a car accident
June 9th, 2022 under Sick Bay, They Might Be Giants. [ Comments: none ]

They Might Be Giants finally were back on the stage yesterday in NYC at The Bowery after the pandemic hiatus. Unfortunately, their excitement of being back on the road is short-lived.

John Linnell announced today that his singing partner, “Mr. John Flansburgh was in a rather serious car accident on his way home from the gig. The initial report is that he has seven broken ribs, several of which have multiple fractures. The good news is that no vital organs were involved and the long-term prognosis seems positive. Of course, there will be a lengthy recovery process.”

Therefore, they are postponing all of their June dates to let him heal. They are planning on resuming their tour on August 30th at Asbury Park.

Hopefully, Flans will be feeling better soon and out of the Birdhouse soon because TMBG puts on a great show, and I am sure they want to be making their fans in Istanbul to Constantinople happy again by performing live for them again.

One last note, I wonder if their song Seven will be or won’t be part of their setlist when the tour resumes. You know, because he broke 7 ribs? What? Too soon?

Procter & Gamble blames Amy Schumer for the Tampax tampon shortage
June 9th, 2022 under Amy Schumer. [ Comments: none ]

Ladies, have you gone into the stores looking for Tampax tampons and have not been able to find a box? Well, we are not alone, and Time spoke to Procter & Gamble to find out why that is.

P&G spokeswoman Cheri McMaster blames Amy Schumer. What? Back in July 2020, they started airing commercials with the actress, and since then, their sales have been up 7.7%.

I call BS on that. I remember at the start of the pandemic, I couldn’t find any tampons. So, my neighbor and I were on the quest to find things for each other when we would venture out. I needed to find her popcorn kernels, and she had to find me tampons. Within a week, we were both successful in our searches.

Anyways, I am thinking that they are still catching up from that time, along with the ads. So it is not the actress’ fault.

What does Schumer think of them blaming her? She said, “Whoa I don’t even have a uterus.”

An advertising agency needs to find a way for her to do a campaign bragging about how she doesn’t get her period anymore to get revenge on P&G for blaming her for the shortage. How bloody, pun intended, awesome would that be?

Bob Saget’s best friends are roasting him on Netflix
June 9th, 2022 under Full House, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

On January 9th, Bob Saget passed away suddenly from a head injury. Netflix wanted to honor the comedian, so they called up his best friends who were already doing that.

On June 10th, John Stamos, Jeff Ross, Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, John Mayer, Darren Criss, Kelly Rizzo-Saget, Mike Binder, Jackson Browne, Seth Green, Mike Young, Michael Keaton, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier, Dave Chappelle, Tim Allen, Paul Rodriguez, Jon Lovitz, and his daughters Lara and Aubrey Saget will roast him in Dirty Daddy: A Tribute to Bob Saget.

While they might not be saying the most positive things about the Full House dad, I think we can all agree that is how he would’ve wanted it.
