Samuel L. Jackson likes to use curse words when he acts, especially the phrase Mother F*cker. However, not every channel can air that phrase during the broadcasting of his movies. Therefore, he has to come up with new phrases that are PG for the TV networks that can’t use words like that.
Today when Jackson was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he told Leslie Jones, who was filling for Ellen, what substitutions he uses MoFo. They are monkey fighter, Marilyn Farmer, and my friend. The latter is the best one because it is like bless your heart.
Back when we were little, we were told to spell successful this way. However, that is not how Charo spells it, and I am going to use her spelling from now on.
What is her way? She spells it as succsexful! Anytime we can add sex to a word, I am all for it!
Can we call Miriam Webster and tell them to change the spelling in all of their future dictionaries. And while we are it, can we also get them to add to Cuchi, Cuchi to the list of words?
And, that is my contribution to the English language.
In 2020, Cursed Films on Shudder looked at five movies that had the reputation that they were most likely cursed. Those five features were Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Twilight Zone: The Movie, The Omen, and The Crow.
The last film left such an impact on me that when the shooting on the set of Rust happened, I thought it should have been preventable because of what happened to Brandon Lee. Therefore, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rust is featured during the third season.
Before we get to the third season, we have to watch the second one that starts streaming on April 7th. This year they are exploring what happened on the sets of The Wizard of Oz, Rosemary’s Baby, Stalker, The Serpent and the Rainbow, and Cannibal Holocaust.
Each of the episodes will include new interviews with FX expert and former Mythbusters host Adam Savage, Oscar-winning cinematographer Roger Deakins, actor Bill Pullman, and director Ruggero Deodato, among many others. Along with the interviews, we will see behind-the-scenes videos from the movies, which could give credence that something supernatural occurred during filming.
I am really looking forward to this season because I have never seen most of these features, nor do I know their backstories. I never even heard of the movie Stalker.

When ABC announced that Leslie Jordan was going to announce the Oscar nominees, I joked that they messed up and called him by accident because they really wanted Leslie Jones. Unfortunately for Jones, the person making the calls dialed the wrong Leslie.
I came up with the joke because sometimes I confuse the Leslies. I mean, one is a tall Black woman, and the other is a short white man. Wait that makes them different. But what makes them alike is that their first name is Leslie, and they both have a common last name that starts with a Jo.

The band shared a video of their mosh pit, and that would be a Last Resort for me. However, there are people that crave that excitement. And my hat is off for them. Because it looks like a blast, just something I am not brave enough to experience. Are you?
