Tonight at 10p on NBC, Dateline’s investigation into Pam Hupp comes to life with Renee Zellwegger in The Thing About Pam.
Betsy Faria is found dead, and her husband is accused of her murder. Russ (Glenn Fleshler) discovered his wife’s body and has a history of abusing her. Therefore, the prosecutor (Judy Greer) thinks she has an open and shut case. Especially because Pam Hupp (Zellwegger), who was the last person to see her alive, keeps giving Askey (Greer) tons of evidence that points his way.
Joel Schwartz (Josh Duhamel) comes to Lincoln County to defend Russ. He has work cut out for him because everyone thinks that Russ did it. That and all the legal people are in cahoots with Askey. Schwartz thinks Pam did it. But again, he keeps hitting roadblocks.
In each episode, you will get to see how the case is being built against Russ and Pam at the same time. Who will be guilty of the crime?
The first episode is slow because they have to give you the history. But every episode after that picks up the pace, and you are going to want to know what happens next. People were glued to the podcast, and they are going to be glued to this limited series. So tune in tonight for a murder mystery based on an actual crime.
You know it has to be good if an Oscar winner asks to play the lead role on television.
Tonight at 9p on NBC, This Is Us gives us an episode to be thankful for. It is Thanksgiving time for the Pearsons, and they will experience through different eras.
Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) spend Thanksgiving with her mom. Rebecca tries to make it perfect, but her mom can’t stop criticizing her. Will Jack stick up for his wife or obey what she told him to do?
The next Thanksgiving takes place after Jack died and the kids come back home from college. Rebecca tries speed dating per Miguel’s (Jon Huertas) suggestion. While she is there, she meets someone. How will the kids react? Kate is bitchy and does something to screw over Kevin. Tension is high for everyone.
Finally, it is present-day, and Rebecca has made a decision about her future. She needs her kids to hear her, but will they listen. Kevin (Justin Hartley) wants to spend Thanksgiving with his children, but Madison (Caitlin Thompson) wants to spend it with her boyfriend. What will he do? And tension is really high between Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan). Is this the beginning of the end?
All I will tell you is Moore gives a speech that makes me want to know why she hasn’t won an Emmy for this role. She deserves it. Translation, I was ugly crying during her speech.

Today, he sang Gayle’s ABCDEFU, and I cannot stop listening to it. I am not sure if it is because I like it more than the original (sorry, Gayle. I do love your f*cking single.). Or it could be because I got turned on every time he sang f*ck. And that word is mentioned a lot in this tune.
I feel like I have been Rick Rolled and not in the way it is intended to be. And that is a very good thing.
Someone sent Nick Carter a video of Danny Hall and his cat Tinker singing Backstreet Boys’ Larger Than Life. Well, the singer got his cat Frodo and decided that the two of them should watch the other duo’s duet.
How did it go? Carter loved it! But I don’t think Frodo did because he turned his back on the camera. And that is why we say all cats are sh!ts. You know, because they love to show us their smelly buttholes!
But then again, Frodo could have been telling his subject that just because I don’t sing your crappy songs on cue doesn’t mean you can make an ass out of me, so I am going to make an ass out of you! And boy did Frodo bite the hand that feeds him. But that is what all cats do, and we, as cat owners, just accept our fate.
So many musicians have covered Hall & Oates songs, and now Daryl Hall is covering another duo’s song. Hall took Eurythmics’ Here Comes the Rain and made it his own.
How do the original band members feel about it? We know he got two picks up from Dave Stewart because he played guitar as Hall tickled the ivories. Pretty cool!
Well, to everyone but the two people they cheated on. I wonder how John Oates and Annie Lennox feel about this musical liaison. Now, I want to hear Lennox’s take of I Can’t Go for That with Oates strumming the guitar for her. I think we need them to do ASAP so we can reset order in the world.
