The Wendy Williams Show names the next two guest hosts |
October 19th, 2021 under Sherri Shepherd, Wendy Williams. [ Comments: 1 ]

Wendy Williams was supposed to be back doing her show a month ago. However, she has been dealing with medical issues from her Grave’s Disease, so she has been off the air.
Since the show has to go on, they started using guest hosts like Leah Remini to fill in until she is healthy enough to return. It looks like Williams is going to need at least two more weeks to recover because Whitney Cummings and then Sherri Shepherd are going to sit on her purple throne starting next week.
Cummings is an interesting choice. So I am curious how she will do at the job. You will have to tell me because I won’t be watching.
When it comes to Williams, I wonder how much longer they can put up with her absence because this is not the first time nor the second. She has missed shows due to her thyroid issues, her marriage, rehab, and not wanting to work during the pandemic. If this were a normal job, she would have been fired a long time ago.

A Mama’s Family mini-reunion |

Vicki Lawrence is back on the road with her two-woman show that is partially based on her Mama’s Family character. During her performance at the Ameristar Kansas City, there was a familiar face in the audience. That face belonged to Allan Kayser, who played her grandson on the sitcom.
After the show, they reunited, and we got this sweet photo of the two of them. The actors still look as close now as they did in the late ’80s. And they both still look fantastic. Well, Lawrence looks younger now than she did then. But that is because they aged her for the role, and she never ages.
I wish they could do a revival, but Mama Harper would be like 100. Could you imagine how grumpy she would be? Wait, it would be awesome.

Drew Barrymore turned down Sidney in Scream |

We all know that Drew Barrymore plays the first person that is killed off at the beginning of Scream. However, that was not the original role she was cast as. Today, on The Drew Barrymore Show, she revealed how she went from the lead to the dead.
“One night, I was at my apartment in NY and had this weird revelation. And I called the other filmmakers and said, ‘Is there any chance,’ because I was attached to play the Sidney character. I said, ‘Is there any chance you would let me play the girl that gets killed in the beginning because this is what I want to accomplish with that. In every horror film, it’s like that the hand just goes. They just get away…and you kind of always have this tension but you kind of know your hero is going to make it.'” she said. “I thought, what if I die and then it will be like all bets are off, anyone can get killed in this movie, and we would take away that sort of cliché safety net of the girl always gets away. So I thought this was the best way I could serve this movie and this script, and I believed it.”
That was a smart, creative decision on her part. Financially, it was dumb. Creatively, it was brilliant.
I wonder if we would still be talking about the Horror film had she stayed as Sidney. It is not that she would’ve been wrong in the role. The movie stood out that they killed off her so quickly. What do you think?

Here’s the first look at Rob Zombie’s Munsters |

Rob Zombie is in Hungary filming Meet the Munsters with his wife, Sherri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Daniel Roebuck. Now, that their home, 1313 Mockingbird Lane is complete, the director thought it would be a good time to share a photo of his cast in their costumes.
What do you think? I have seen several awful telemovies on Tubi TV based on The Munsters, and these are the worst-looking monsters of The Munsters. On a positive note, the house looks fantastic. Zombie is the kind of director, you either like his work, or you don’t. Can you tell which one I am?

Céline Dion was going to be back on the stage in Las Vegas on November 5th, but today she announced that she is going to have to postpone her big return.
As Celine Dion has been preparing for the November 5th opening of her brand-new show in the beautiful, new Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, unforeseen medical symptoms have forced the singer to delay the opening and cancel the performances scheduled from November 5 to 20, 2021 and January 19 to February 5, 2022.
Celine has been experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms which are preventing her from performing. Her medical team continues to evaluate and treat her. However, the symptoms she is experiencing are prohibiting her from participating in the ongoing rehearsals for the new show
“I’m heartbroken by this,” said Celine. “My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months, and to not be able to open this November saddens me beyond words. My partners at Resorts World Las Vegas and AEG have been working around the clock to get this brand-new state-of-the-art theatre ready, and it’s absolutely beautiful. I feel so bad that I’m letting them down, and I’m especially sorry for disappointing all the fans who’ve been making their plans to come to Las Vegas. Now, I have to focus on getting better… I want to get through this as soon as I can.”
Hopefully, she will be better soon because everyone should experience her live.
When it comes to her World Tour, which is expected to begin on March 5, that is still going on as is. At least for now.
