Wendy Williams hasn’t hosted her show all season due to health issues stemming from her Grave’s Disease, so they have had guest hosts fill in for her. Leah Remini was the first one to do it, and she will be back to sit on the purple throne again for two weeks starting on November 29th with her friend Michelle Visage.
At this rate, it looks like Williams will not be back until at least 2022.
And that might be the last year she hosts her show. Sadly for her, the ratings have been good with the guest hosts. So, I wonder if Debmar-Mercury is considering replacing her permanently with one of the guest hosts in September. Would you blame them if they did? I wouldn’t. I mean, she has taken several leaves over the last few years, so I am sure they want a host they can depend on that will show up for work.
In January, black-ish begins its final season on ABC. The network was hoping to keep the ish brand going with Jenifer Lewis and Laurence Fishburne starring in old-ish.
Since the possible spinoff was announced, we haven’t heard anything about it. Today, we found why. Lewis announced that the show is not moving forward because of COVID-19. So after this Spring, there will only be one ish left on the air, and it is grown-ish on Freeform. mixed-ish only lasted two seasons before getting cancelled by ABC in the Spring.
When it comes to Lewis, she already booked her next gig. She will be starring in I Love This For You on Showtime.
Days of our Lives recently had a successful week-long limited series on Peacock, and next month they are getting a Christmas movie.
According to the press release, “Will Horton as he writes a screenplay before his Christmas Eve deadline. Using everyone’s favorite feel-good holiday movie tropes, he creates a festive story based on his family and friends in Salem — but with several twists and turns you’ll never see coming.”
I am sure there will be some blasts from the past in the holiday telemovie. But who they are, we don’t know yet.
Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas debuts on December 16th.
Michael Bublé spends a lot of time on the road. Each night he is greeted by thousands of adoring fans. Therefore, you would think he has it all. However, there is one thing he is missing. And that thing is a friend.
The singer posted this sad video asking for someone, anyone, to be his friend. If you fit the bill, let him know. He won’t make you sing for your dinner. That is his job. That and to pay for it because he has more money than you.
It has been a long time since we have seen Channing Tatum in a movie, but he has a new one coming out on February 18th. This time, his co-star in the buddy comedy is a Dog.
Tatum, a former Army Ranger, is tasked to take a four-legged one to a funeral. Will they get there in time as their road trip endures plenty of obstacles?
Dog looks like the type of movie that will have you laughing, crying, and laughing and crying at the same time.
