Growing up in NYC, I spent my Christmases watching the yule log on WPIX. However, this year does not really call for us to want to watch Mayor Fiorello La Guardia’s fireplace and listening to joyful Christmas Carols.
2020 was a real dumpster fire, and I am in a bah humbug mood. That means I don’t want to hear any happy seasonal tunes. I am not alone. That is why Netflix gave us the perfect alternate. It is two hours of a dumpster fire with no music, and I cannot stop watching it. It almost melts my cold heart. Although I don’t think that is possible anymore.
Skylar Astin celebrated the end of Chanukkah by giving us a pitch perfect present. The actor was completely naked except for a gift over his crotch that we mentally get to unwrap. And I can’t stop unwrapping.
If NBC wants Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist to get better ratings, then all they have to do is give us Astin naked every now and again. It will give us something to sing along with besides all of the songs they do on the show.
Before this photo, I was only excited for the return of the musical dramedy to NBC on January 5th. Now, I am excited for new episodes and getting to see more of Astin! And when I say more, hopefully, more like this.
Ariana Grande had a very public relationship and engagement with Pete Davidson, but it didn’t work out. Because of that, she has had a very private relationship with her new boyfriend, Dalton Gomez. That is why it came as a surprise today when they revealed that they are engaged. The singer shared a photo of the ring he gave her and wrote, “forever n then some.”
The two have been dating since January. Hopefully, this time it will work out better for Grande.
Jim Carrey did something Donald Trump should do, and that is resign as President of the United States.
“Though my term was only meant to be 6 weeks, I was thrilled to be elected as your SNL President…comedy’s highest call of duty,” Carey wrote. “I would love to go forward knowing that Biden was the victor because I nailed that shit. But I am just one in a long line of proud, fighting SNL Bidens!”
Saturday Night Live’s Alex Moffat played him yesterday on the show. No word if he will continue on in the role.
