Have you ever found yourself humming a song, but you couldn’t remember anything else about it but the melody? Well, there is a Google search for that.
That’s right. All you have to do is go to the Google app on your phone, tap on the microphone, click on Search a Song, and then start humming. Not only will it tell you what song you are humming and who sang it, but it will also tell you how good of a job you did mimicking it.
This feature is getting so popular that Billboard gave its own chart. Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up is #2 on Google’s Top Hummed Songs of 2020. How did he do when he hummed his own song? He got an 87% on accuracy. Therefore, he wants to see if you can beat him. I got a 47%, so I have moved on. So much so, I just spent the last 8 hours humming into my phone. It is so bad that the hummingbirds flew away.
Since there is nothing else going on, and we need a break from social media. Why not spend your day humming into your phone and see how well of a hummer you are. I promise you will be as hooked as I am.
As if 2020 needed a timewaster, but it turns out we can never have enough. I guess you can say we are never gonna give you up, wasting time.
Soleil Moon Frye just wrapped the first season of the Punky Brewster revival for Peacock, and that is not the only thing she wrapped in 2020.
The actress and her husband, Jason Goldberg, should have been celebrating their 22nd and 2 month wedding anniversary on Christmas. Instead, they were figuring out how to announce that they separated earlier this year.
Frye and the producer “quietly separated this year,” her rep told People. “Their priority will continue to be their four beautiful children as they move forward with love and compassion.”
Those four children are Poet Sienna Rose, 15, and Jagger Joseph Blue, 12, and sons Lyric Sonny Roads, 6, and Story, 4.
Along with being part of Punky Brewster’s revival, she will also be heard in the Proud Family reboot on Disney+ next year.
When Ed Sheeran released his newest single, Afterglow, a lot of people, like me, were like that doesn’t sound like him. The track was overproduced, and they distorted his beautiful voice.
Well, over the weekend, Sheeran asked his fans to do a duet with him on TikTok. Therefore, the singer sang the song acoustically, and we got to hear it sound as it should have been sounded in the first place.
Since the new album has not been finished, I think they should rerecord the song and make it sound like this instead of what they released last week. What do you think?
Netflix added 17 original Christmas films to their streaming site this year, and I bet you want to know how many times they mentioned the holiday in their movies. They wanted to know too.
Therefore, they got a bunch of people together to count and edit all of them together into one video. So, how many times did Dolly Parton and the others say the word? 200! That is a lot of Christmases.
As I said, they only streamed 17 new features this year. Imagine if someone did that for the Hallmark, Lifetime, and Up movies? They would be editing the video until next Christmas.
