ABC recently announced that Mariah Carey is going to sing the theme song for the Black-ish spinoff Mixed-ish. Today, they released her song In The Mix and maybe getting her was not the best idea.
She sounds like Daryl Hannah in Splash when she tries to say her name. In other words, it just sounds like screeching tires and that hurt my ears. I miss the days when she did earworms instead of ear bleeders.
Before Greg Grunberg was being introduced as a member of Band From TV, he was the one introducing a singer on Baywatch. He looks the same now as he did when he was 27 in that 1994 episode.

Last season, Wendy Williams had a lot of ups and downs. She had health issues, and her husband’s cheating scandal became front-page news. Her health got under control, and then her marriage ended. As all of that was happening, she took a lot of time off from her daily talk show.
It made us wonder, including me, if they were going to keep her show on the air after this season. Yesterday, she told her audience that the show was picked up for two more seasons or until May 2022. In fact, she knew about the renewal for a while but was not allowed to say anything to anyone. To all of the naysayers, like me, “You know, I’m reading on the blogs that we’re going away. That I cannot handle it, and we’re being canceled. No darling. We are here.”
Guess we got it wrong. As long as she brings in the rating, she is not going anywhere.
Over the weekend, Comedy Central roasted Alec Baldwin and there were not a lot of nice things to say about him and the dais. That is just the way the Roasts are.
However, Jimmy Kimmel wondered what would happen if they were nice to everyone even Courtney Love. Therefore, he held one with Henry Winkler, the nicest guy in Hollywood, as the host to see what it would be like.
What did we learn? Nice is boring, we want them to be mean! And also funny. Mostly funny.
When it comes to The Fonz, I would love to see someone Roast him. But how can you be to mean to him? He is just so gosh darn nice.
