Freeform is doing a gift wrapping game show! |

There are game shows that are dedicated to cooking and baking holiday challenges. They also have contests to see who can decorate their homes the best and brightest for Christmas. This year, Freeform is getting into the mix with a gift wrapping challenge with Wrap Battle. Sheryl Underwood will host while Carson Kressley and Wanda Wen will judge.
Nine contestants will battle it out to see who can come up with the most creative way to turn an ordinary gift into something extraordinary. At the end of the six weeks, one person will bring home $50,000 and their own custom wrapping paper to be sold by Paper Source in 120 stores.
Since I cannot wrap a present to save my life, I will watch to see if I can learn something, anything that will help me better wrapper. Gift wrapping is a work of art and about time it had its own competition show.

The Spice Girls are not going to a land down under |

Back in June, Mel B announced that the Spice Girls would be touring in Australia in February. There is only problem. The other girls had not signed on yet.
Today, Daily Mail says that the tour is off because the band and the promoters could not come up with a deal. The paper claims that Geri Halliwell did not want to sign on because she “does not need the money.”
Once again, it seems that the spice has gone out of their relationship. Knowing them, they will reunite and tour again in a few years. You know when Ginger Spice needs the money.

Joe Jonas grew up in NJ before he became an international singing sensation. Therefore, you would think that New Yorkers would recognize the Jan Brady of the Jonas Brothers in Manhattan. Well, you would be wrong.
The singer stood by his band’s poster promoting their Madison Square Garden concert coming up this week. He told passersby how cool the brothers are and none of them cared. That is New York for you and it is why I am so proud to be one of them!
