Amy Schumer loves her hospital underwear
June 8th, 2019 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

It has been five weeks since Amy Schumer gave birth to her son Gene and she is still loving the underwear the hospital gave her. So much so, she wears them out in public for everyone to see. Why not, people wear shorts that cover less than that.

Plus, when you are a new mom, you do not have to do anything for your self including getting dressed.

Oh fork, this is major bullshirt, The Good Place is ending this season
June 8th, 2019 under Kristen Bell, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

There are hundreds of television shows being produced these days and The Good Place is one of the best of the bunch. However, as they say, “All good things must come to an end.” Sadly, that is the case for this comedy.

Michael Shur, who created this show, explained his decision to say goodbye the good and bad place.

After The Good Place was picked up for season two, the writing staff and I began to map out, as best we could, the trajectory of the show. Given the ideas we wanted to explore, and the pace at which we wanted to present those ideas, I began to feel like four seasons—just over 50 episodes—was the right lifespan. At times over the past few years we’ve been tempted to go beyond four seasons, but mostly because making this show is a rare, creatively fulfilling joy, and at the end of the day, we don’t want to tread water just because the water is so warm and pleasant. As such, the upcoming fourth season will be our last.

I will be forever grateful to NBC and Universal TV for letting us make The Good Place, and for letting us end it on our own schedule. I will also be forever grateful to the creative team, both on-screen and off, for the work and decimation to a very weird idea. We ask the question very frequently, on this show, what do we owe to each other? The answer, for me, is: I owe all of you a whole lot.

We look forward to a great final season airing this fall.

I thought that watching Ted Danson flossing would bring a smile to my face after this news, but it did not work. I don’t want this show to end. Can’t they take something else like Grey’s Anatomy or NCIS?

The downside of having Alexa in the house with a toddler
June 7th, 2019 under Babies. [ Comments: none ]

via GMA
Alexa makes life so much easier if you are the parent of a young child. You yell, “Alexa order me diapers”. “Alexa, text my husband and ask when he is coming home?” “Alexa, when was I supposed to get my period?” “Alex, when did my husband say he was coming home?” “Alexa, order me a pregnancy test?” “Alexa, get me the names of divorce attorneys.” “Alexa, what time is my doctor’s appointment?” You see where I am going with this.

Anyways, one mom said Alexa so many times, her 7-month-old daughter Caroline thinks her name is Alexa. I wonder how many other babies think their name is Alexa, Siri, Google or Bixby? If I had a kid, they would think their name is a four-letter word and it ain’t Siri.

The moral of this post is to make sure to call your child by their name as much as possible if you have a virtual assistant in your house. Or make it easy for yourself and just name your baby after the virtual assistant you have.

Brian Wilson postpones his tour because he is ‘mentally insecure’
June 7th, 2019 under Sick Bay. [ Comments: none ]

Brian Wilson was set to go on tour this month, but he announced yesterday that he has to postpone the dates. The 76-year-old singer has been very open with his mental illness struggles throughout his life. He has been able to control it with the right doctors and medicines, but he had a recent setback.

Over the last year, he has had three surgeries on his back and the third one left him feeling “strange” and it has been scary. Then he elaborated, “I was not feeling like myself. Mentally insecure is how I’d describe it. We’re not sure what is causing it but i do know that it’s not good for me to be on the road right now so I’m heading back to Los Angeles.”

Even though physically he feels great, mentally he does not. Therefore, he says, “I’m going to rest, recover and work with my doctors on this.” He promises his fans, “I know this will be something I can AGAIN overcome.”

Recently I saw the movie Love & Mercy with John Cusack on Tubi TV that is about Wilson’s struggles with mental illness and the doctor who took advantage of him. If the Beach Boys singer can overcome that, then he can overcome this. This time his wife Melinda is by his side and that doctor is not doing everything to keep them apart.

Demi Moore reveals how realistic her fake baby bump was in Seventh Sign
June 7th, 2019 under Demi Moore. [ Comments: none ]

Just before Demi Moore got pregnant with Rumer Willis, she was very pregnant with the child that was going to save the World in Seventh Sign. Since they had to make it appear as though she was really with child, they gave her a prosthetic belly. Not only that they made her nipples look real too. Which is weird because we did not see them in the film. It just goes to show how far Hollywood is willing to go to make things look as real as possible. Even we don’t see every little detail.

If you have never seen the Seventh Sign, it is a must watch ASAP. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. It still gives me chills just thinking about it.
