Alex Trebek won Outstanding Game Show Host at the Daytime Emmys yesterday and his speech was award winning. The Jeopardy host, who is battling fourth stage pancreatic cancer, told the audience that he did not want to win due to sympathy votes. Then he realized that last year when he was nominated, he just had surgery to remove two blood clots in his brain that could have killed him.

If that did garner enough votes for him to win, then it caused him to have a realization. He realized he is like Sally Field, as in he explained, “I look at this as a sign, you guys like me and that you value my work.” Then he added, “If that’s the case, I can live with that.”

It is that warmth and humor which is why he won that award. It was not about sympathy votes, it was all about honoring the best game show host on television. He will again next year and he will be there to accept the award again!

On another note, I had not seen Days of our Lives Kristin Alfonso in a while. What has she done to her face? I did not recognize her at first and then I was like, girl stop with fillers.

Did you know that Busy Philipps has a talk show on E!? Well, you are not alone if you did not because she revealed that it has been cancelled.

She wrote, “Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know my show Busy Tonight won’t be continuing on the E network after May 16. I’m beyond proud of what we’ve built in such a short period of time and I’m hopeful we can find the right place for the show to live on. Goodnight you guys. I love you.✨”

I don’t know why she thinks anyone else would be interested in her show because it did not get a lot of buzz after the first week. That and it is absolutely awful. It was all about her and not the guests. I hate talk show hosts who make it all about them. She would actually interrupt guests to talk about herself. As if, the show was not enough about her to begin with. That is my theory why her talk show is cancelled.

I hope that E! is not out of the talk show business. I think they can have a successful one if they find the right host. She was not just it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together today, 13 days before their first wedding anniversary.

The Sussexes released this statement, “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.

“The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.

“More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”

The overjoyed Prince Harry told Sky News that they we will meet the Baby of Sussex in two days with his wife. Hopefully, by then they will have name for him. As of now they are still debating one. Although, he admitted more time to pick a name since the seventh in line to the throne was rumored to be a week late.

UPDATE: Meghan Markle’s TV husband from Suits, Patrick J. Adam, had a message for the new mom. He wrote, “Just heard that the world just got heavier by 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Much love to him and his incredible parents. Learned first hand 7 months ago how transformational becoming a parent is and couldn’t be happier for Meghan and Harry as they begin this adventure. #playdatesoon”

He and Troian Bellisario have a baby girl. Maybe their babies will enjoy their playdates so much, they will get married in the future! Would that be incestuous?

Over the weekend, the (not so much) kids (anymore) from Boy Meets World got together at the Dallas Fan Expo. However, is it really reunion if Danielle Fishel, Ben Savage, Will Friedel and Rider Storm do not make it Instagram official? The four of them posed for this photo together showing off Topanga’s growing belly. The actress is pregnant with her first child.

Seeing them together like this makes me mad again at Disney Channel for cancelling Girl Meets World after only 3 seasons. It had more life in it.
