9-1-1 is doing so well, Fox is giving it a spinoff. 9-1-1: Lone Star stars Rob Lowe and will debut next season.

The drama centers around a sophisticated New York cop (Lowe) who, along with his son, re-locates to Austin, and must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in his own life. No word how old his son will be.

Personally, I wish they would have gone with Florida as a location because imagine the stories Ryan Murphy and his crew could have come up with for 9-1-1: Sunshine State? It is so much more up his alley. Maybe they will do that for the 2020-2021 season?

NBC announced its schedule for next season and they have another strong year ahead of them. I think Perfect Harmony will be my favorite new show.

We found out why they took so long to renew This Is Us. That is because they are giving it three more seasons. The three more Dan Fogleman wanted to finish out the plan for his beloved drama.

While a lot is staying the same, Will & Grace moves to midseason. I think they are keeping it to pair it with Kenan Thompson’s new show. Which will be a good pairing.

Manifest is also coming back later on in the season along with the final season of Blindspot. Another change for NBC is that they are bringing back Little Big Shots with Melissa McCarthy who replaces Steve Harvey.

Finally, NBC has not made any decisions about Abby’s, A.P. Bio, The Enemy Within, The InBetween, The Titan Games and The Village. Which gives me hope that maybe they will bring back The Villiage for another season.
