Is Blindspot in trouble?
April 26th, 2019 under Jaimie Alexander, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has pulled Blindspot until after May Sweeps which means, NBC is no longer taking a blindspot to the show’s dismal ratings. It also means that when the show wraps its season on May 31st, those will likely be the last new episodes we will ever see for the show. As sad as Jaimie Alexander will be about the cancellation, I am sure her bones are very happy about it. She has more broken bones since the show started than the senior class at small-town high school.

Will you be sad if this show gets cancelled?

Who’s a better kisser to Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore or Jennifer Aniston?
April 26th, 2019 under Adam Sandler, Ellen DeGeneres, Friends (cast), Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Sandler was answering Ellen DeGeneres’ burning questions and she wanted to know which of his leading ladies is a better kisser, Drew Barrymore or Jennifer Aniston? Since he only plays a schmuck in movies, he rightfully answered that question by saying Chris Rock. Rock was not the answer to the previous question, so I guess the Water Boy did not want to leave the Diva out. Well, Rock is not as big as a Diva as David Spade according to Sandler. The more you know.

Another reason why Sandler might not have answered the question is that he has a Netflix movie coming out with Aniston on June 14th. If he said Barrymore that would not have been the only Murder Mystery in Jen’s life.

Keito Kawahara no longer has the longest hair on a teenager
April 26th, 2019 under Guinness World Records. [ Comments: none ]

Last year, Keito Kawahara going into the Guinness Book of World Records for Longest Hair on a Teenager, and a year later she cut herself out of the record book (even though she lost the title to another teen). As in the 18-year-old got her first ever haircut on April 2nd. Gone is her ankle length hair that measured just over 5’1″ long and now it is just past her shoulders. Her long locks were not wasted, she donated them to a charity that makes wigs for kids who cannot grow hair.

Why did she decide to cut it now? She wanted a new look before she started university. Now, she is ready to try all the hairstyles she never got to try including perms and dying her hair.

Paul Rudd spins me round like a record as Pete Burns!
April 26th, 2019 under Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Paul Rudd recreated Dead or Alive’s You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) music video shot for shot. While it was not perfect, because there was only one Pete Burns, it was pretty gosh darn close. There was just something so cool about the singer not giving a sh!t when he did that shoot. Although, in the recreation, you can tell that Ant-Man was having a blast doing what he was probably doing his bedroom back in 1985 while watching MTV.

Bruce Springsteen brings some Sunshine into our lives
April 26th, 2019 under Bruce Springsteen. [ Comments: none ]

Bruce Springsteen has a new album coming out on June 14th and today he released the first single from Western Stars. Hello Sunshine sounds a lot like something that would have been on the Born in the USA album mixed with some Johnny Cash. The type of song you would hear on a juke bar at a dark bar made of wood that mostly sells beer. Which means it is very him and because of that I am sure his fans are loving every note.

If this single is any hint of what the album is going to be like, I expect him to get a lot of Grammy noms for it and even some wins. Especially since the Boss describes the record as, “This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements. It’s a jewel box of a record.” Sounds like his Broadway run had a big influence on his new songs.
