On March 17th, Hallmark Channel announced that it was parting ways with Lori Loughlin because of how she reportedly got both of her daughters into college…illegally. That meant that her series, When Calls the Heart, that was airing its 6th season, had to be retooled to eliminate her presence.
The retooling is done and the show will begin airing new episodes starting on May 5th. Since the viewers have been so loyal to the show, they will air a second episode the next night as a present.
Just to give you a hint how popular WCTH is, it was the second most-watched show on cable during its 6th premiere week It was only beat by The Walking Dead. It will be interesting to see how it does without its most famous, now infamous, star.
We know Justin Hartley can do a lot of things, but there is one thing he cannot do. That thing is ice skate.
The actor told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show yesterday that he is filming a new movie called The Exchange where he is playing a former hockey player. One of the requirements for the role is ice skating. Something he has never done before. He thought it would be easy because he is athletic. They even gave him a three-hour lesson and he thought he could master it in 30 minutes.
Then he got on the ice and well, it was not for him. He shared a video of him during hour three and even three-year-olds can do better that. I did.
Hey, he lives in LA and we have an ice skating rink in Burbank for like a month out of the year. It is not a skill we need unless we are filming a movie.
What did the director do about his lack of gracefulness on the ice? They pulled him around so it looks like he was doing it. Only we know he wasn’t. That is why they say that acting is make-believe.
You know, at least he has a lot of other talents to fall back on. If he ever goes skating again, he might fall back on that too, as in fall backwards on his ass. Poor Justin.
Netflix announced the premiere date for Lucifer today and it will be back in less than 666 hours. He is rising on May 8th and ladies, I think, if we could get a rise that promo would definitely do it to us. Looks like the fourth season is going to be hotter than hell. Could be because the Devil is up here and not done there.
I have so missed this show and I am so excited that Netflix saved it. I cannot wait for the nudity and cursing to begin. It was two of the biggest things missing from the show when it was on Fox.
Ever since American Horror Story dominated the Outstanding Limited Series category at the Emmys, people have been questioning the rules for it. This year, the Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences is making some changes. AHS: Apocalypse, Sinner and American Vandal are not eligible this go around. According to Deadline because they used the same characters from past seasons in the current one, therefore they are no longer considered limited and will have to be entered in either the Drama or Comedy categories.
All I have to say is about freaking time. Although I am sure the producers and the networks will like this change. That is because it will be harder for them to win in the larger categories because there are more options and not a limited amount.

Lifetime released the first look for Dance Moms season 8 and Abby Lee Miller is still a very mean screaming woman who belittles children.
You would think a year of being in jail and beating cancer which left her unable to walk, would make her a little nicer. But I think it made her even more of a horrible person.
To me, it is sad that someone can be so miserable. She has so much to be grateful for but she yet she comes off as so bitter for some reason.
Her kids would be dancers if she was more encouraging and less disparaging to them.
