Is Book Club 2 happening? |
April 12th, 2019 under Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

Book Club was last year’s sleeper hit and yesterday the film’s stars got together. Does that mean that Candice Bergin, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda and Mary Steenburgen are letting us know that they are working on a sequel? Sadly, nope. It just means that made a friendship that lasted long after they were done filming.
Personally, I think they should do a series based on the movie and each week they take on a new book that changes their lives. Imagine if they took on a murder mystery book where four friends vow to kill one of their lovers, but they don’t know which one actually do the crime. Now they are all suspicious of each other after Andy Garcia is injured by mysterious means. I would watch, wouldn’t you?

Mick Jagger is no longer singing the Ventilator Blues |
April 12th, 2019 under Rolling Stones. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Mick Jagger underwent heart surgery to replace a valve and today his taking a walk in the park like nothing ever happened.
At this rate, I think the 75-year-old will outlive us all. Our grandkids will be going to see The Rolling Stones on their 100th tour long after we are gone.

Before Sanaa Latham was taking her son to college in The Twilight Zone, she was the president of her Sorority on Family Matters. She looks the same now as she did when she was 25 in that 1997 episode.

NCIS is sexy & 17! |
April 11th, 2019 under CBS, Gd Friended Me, Mark Harmon/Pam Dawber, NCIS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS announced today that they picked up television’s #1 drama, NCIS, for a 17th season. Not only does the show do well in first run on broadcast, but it also does well online and in syndication. Thus the renewal is no surprise. They just had to wait for Mark Harmon to say yes.
Now that he did, it will join Young Sheldon, Mom, Criminal Minds, FBI, God Friended Me, The Neighborhood And Magnum P.I. on the 2019-2020 schedule. That leaves a lot of shows in limbo like Bull, NCIS: LA, NCIS: NoLA, Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-0. I think only Bull is in trouble of the ones I listed.
