For months, Fox teased us with the singing competition The Masked Singer. When it actually debuted, it could have gone either way in the ratings. Well, the show is a hit, so it makes sense that Fox would ask them to do another season.
If you are one of the few who does not know about it, you are missing out. The show has twelve celebrities who dress up in costumes from head to toe and compete by singing their hearts out. Each week, one of them is unmasked or as other shows would say are eliminated. We do not know who they are until the unmasking, so we are left guessing along with the judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke and host Nick Cannon.
The press release does not make it clear if those five will be back next season, but I hope they at least get rid of Jenny McCarthy. She is just so annoying and adds nothing. Who actually likes her besides Donnie Wahlberg?
Elsa, Anna, Prince Hans and Olaf were all in the same room together and they did not say why. All Josh Gad said about this kissing photo with Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Santino Fontana (how did I not know that the original Greg on Crazy Ex Girlfriend was in Frozen until now) is “Soon enough…”
Could it be that we are finally getting a trailer for Frozen 2 soon since the movie is slated to come out on November 22nd? Or maybe it is a Frozen treat to give to all the girls in our lives as a little present for their birthdays? What could it be? We will find out “Soon enough…”
Whatever it is, let’s just hope it is not a song as catchy as Let It Go.
There is a lot of buzzing on the set of The Rookie today and it is not about the show possibly getting a second season. Instead, it is all about Nathan Fillion and Eric Winter shaving their stubble so that they are fresh faced for the police dramedy.
They look so good, how can ABC not bring the show back for another year?
Jaimie Alexander plays Jane Doe on Blindspot, a woman who lost her memory and does not know why her body is covered in tattoos. What we do know about her is that she can really kick a$$ and now we know that stunts are no joke.
Yesterday, when she was a co-host on Today with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush, she listed several of the injuries she suffered since working on the NBC drama.
They are:
Ruptured disc
Herniated disc
Broken nose
Dislocated shoulder
Broken right index finger
Broken left foot
Broken left two toes (three times)
Broke right foot
Broken right two toes
Dislocated jaw
And several others she could not pronounce or reveal.
How does she feel about all of that? She says, “I love it!!!” Not me, I hate to be in pain. She is a masochist and I am a sadist.
Seriously, I have a whole new respect for her. Because I would have quit after the first injury and that would have been a paper cut from reading the script. Yet she keeps going.
Ozzy Osbourne was supposed to start his European tour today, but his doctors forced him to cancel it. The singer has a severe upper respiratory infection and doctors feel if he went on tour it might develop into pneumonia. Therefore, until he is given the all clear, he is stuck at home recovering.
If it were up to him, he would go on the road. He had a message for his fans, “I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to sh!t.
“First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”
Hopefully, when he tries to hit the road again, he will have the Midas touch and not the sh!tty one.
