When The Goldbergs ended last season, they got Rick Moranis to reprise his role of Dark Helmut from Spaceballs. This season, they have another 1980somthing legend reprising his role in disguise for Halloween. One that has been haunting our nightmares since 1984. Of course, it is Robert Englund, but you probably know him as Freddy Krueger.
The ABC sitcom broke the news today, and I am so excited because I love the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. But I am surprised that the real Adam F. Goldberg went there because yesterday he tweeted this about Englund retiring from the role, “NO! There’s only one Freddy! Robert Englund can’t retire! Elm Street 3 scared the CRAP out of me when I was a kid. I was so terrified I slept in the hallway for a week, but then became a superfan. Someone has to do something to keep the nightmares alive!” To me, 3 was the best one and so not scary. I laughed at some of the kills like the girl who got her chance to be in TV and the roach motel girl. So funny.
It is not about me, it about another great get for The Goldbergs. Although, why is it whenever these actors reprise their characters on the show, they declare they will never do them again? Things that make you go hmmmm? Oh, wait that is a song from the ’90somthing.
Anyways, The Goldbergs pays homage to Sixteen Candles for Adam’s 16th birthday next Wednesday on ABC.
Every year, Modern Family goes out of their way to make Halloween special and this year is no exception. We do not all of what they are going to do, but we do know that Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) are going as the Duke and Duchess of Essex. Since Ferguson is a ginger, it makes sense that he is going as Prince Harry and his husband is going as his wife. That makes sense right?
I hope that means that Phil and Claire will go as Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Wouldn’t that be perfect for Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen?
I don’t want them to kill off that “significant character” on this episode. How creepy would that be?
Since we do not know when that person will die, we will just have to start tuning in on Wednesday when the show returns for its 10th season with all new episodes.
Remember sweet little Kellie Pickler who sung her way into our hearts on American Idol’s fifth season? Her naivety made her just so gosh darn likable. After having a successful reality show with her husband on CMT, they gave her a talk show with Ben Aaron.
Today, on Kellie & Ben they went to space camp. That is right, Pickler was an astronaut for a day. And you thought Space Force was a bad idea? Actually, if Pickler joined Space Force, I bet a lot of people would sign up to. Now she has the experience.
Seriously though, doesn’t it look like they are having a blast? That is what talk shows are all about. Or should be about!

In 2018, what the world needs now is CarousHELL. A movie about a carousel unicorn who comes alive only kill people in the most hillarious ways. He is mad as hell and you cannot blame him for getting revenge due to all of the people who have farted on him. At least that is why I am assuming he is going on this killer rampage.
Parents, if your kids force you to go the carnival, then make them watch this movie. After they see it, you will never have to go to an amusement park again! Unless you want to, of course.
