HGTV’s Lottery Dream Home is the Brady Bunch House |

On Friday, Lance Bass told everyone he was the new owner of The Brady Bunch house, but then the next day we found out he was not. He said that there was a studio who outbid him and they are going to be the home’s new owner.
I thought the studio was Paramount because they own the classic sitcom and I was wrong. The new owners are HGTV and the realtor updated the listing so it says, “contract signed.”. This way we really know it belongs to the network.
According to Deadline, Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced the news on a conference call this morning. He said, “One of our projects for HGTV will speak to those Brady Bunch fans on the call. You may have heard that the house from the iconic series was recently on the market in California.” Then he added, “I’m excited to share that HGTV is the winning bidder and will restore the Brady Bunch home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can. More detail to come over the next few months but we’ll bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories about this beloved piece of American TV history.”
HGTV’s own Johnathan Scott from Property Brothers was one of the bidders. No word if he will be part of the project/inevitable series, but I am sure he will be. At least he better be.
I know, I cannot wait to see what they do it. In fact, once the construction starts, I will be walking by the house all the time to see the progress. Their first task should be to tear down that fence!
When it comes to Lance Bass, I think HGTV owes him a show because they stole the iconic house from under him. Don’t you agree?

KFC is changing it up again for their new campaign and this time they are taking it back old school. They hired ’90s sitcom star Jason Alexander to play Colonel Sanders. Not only that, they gave him a theme song that would make Growing Pains, Family Matters and Full House very proud.
It cannot only be about the song that is finger licking good, so they gave him a mini-episode too. Out of all Colonels, George Costanza is my favorite one by far. So much, I hope they keep him around for a long time. Longer than their yummy pickle sandwich that is already gone.

Lucifer’s fourth season premiere gets a fitting title! |

As we know Fox made the evil mistake of cancelling Lucifer, but Netflix righted their wrong.
Today, they go back into production and the writers shared the title for the first episode of the fourth season. It is, “Everything’s OK!” Yes, it is! Now the show will be back and we find out what happens next after Decker saw Lucifer’s true face for the first time…
As brilliant as that title is, Galavant’s second season premiere had the best one. After miraculously being renewed, they call that first episode, “A New Season … aka Suck It Cancellation Bear.” I still miss Galavant, but at least we still have Lucifer.

Even though Joshua Malina wants to do a West Wing revival, he should really be trying to get one for ER. That is because the actor has recently been there twice. He explained, “Second trip to the ER this month, after dropping a heavy weight on my foot and shattering the bone a few weeks back. Whee!”
And whee explains his second visit. He somehow jumped into a ceiling fan and cut the top of his head open. Therefore, he spent yesterday getting stitches in his head.
Hopefully, the blade knocked some common sense into him because who jumps into a ceiling fan? They are kind of hard to miss.
And he needs to be careful with everything he does because you know what they say, hospital visits come in threes.
