It has been an awful week for Chefs at ABC. First ABC, suspended Mario Batali from The Chew over sexual misconduct claims as the investigated the allegations. Then, they cancelled this season of The Great American Baking Show over sexual harassment claims against Johnny Iuzzini. Now, that they have finished their investigation, they have decided to part ways with Batali too.
An ABC spokesperson released a statement to Entertainment Weekly, “Upon completing its review into the allegations made against Mario Batali, ABC has terminated its relationship with him and he will no longer appear on The Chew. While we remain unaware of any type of inappropriate behavior involving him and anyone affiliated with our show, ABC takes matters like this very seriously as we are committed to a safe work environment and his past behavior violates our standards of conduct.”
All I have to say is Thank Gd Gordon Ramsay is on Fox because I do not know how I would handle if he too was accused and cancelled.
When it comes to ABC, they did the right thing. We cannot keep rewarding sexual harassers.
Before Mark Hamill has a sister he didn’t know about in Star Wars, he had a brother he was afraid of losing in Eric. Did the 23-year-old break your heart in that 1975 movie?
Will Smith just joined Instagram and Ellen DeGeneres thought she would help him out. She had him do several poses including one for Throwback Thursday. The daytime host asked him to put on his Fresh Prince of Bel Air attire and recreate a photo from the sitcom’s theme song.
When they were done, they put the photos side-by-side and you can see that he has not aged a day in 27 years. In fact, he might even look younger now at 49 than he did when he was 21 years old. Who did he sell his soul to make that happen?
This year when Conan O’Brien and the staff from his TBS show only get coal in their stockings Christmas morning, they will know why. This bit with a very naughty Santa Claus telling jokes that no kid who still believes him can hear. Heck, even their parents might not be old enough hear them. Since I do not have kids, I enjoyed every joke including the Kevin Spacey ones! Therefore, I too will only get coal in my stocking. And it is worth it because it feels so nice to watch such a naughty naughty Santa!
Normally, the People’s Choice Awards is the first awards show of the year. Not anymore, the move to E! from CBS means it will air later, a lot later, in the year. Like November 11th later. What that means for 2017 nominees, we will find out a later date. I mean it will be weird to vote on best new show when almost of them will be cancelled by then. So what will they consider the end date will be interesting. It will also be interesting to see how much we care about an awards show in November because that is normally the month for music awards shows. And now I am wondering why I even care because I have not watched the People’s Choice Awards in over a decade. How do you feel about it later air date?
