James Corden did a parody of It on The Late Late Show yesterday and he dressed up as Pennywise. For those of you who have not seen the Horror film, Corden is much scarier than Bill Skarsgård in the clown costume, but not as scary as the sexy Tim Curry. That is because Curry is perfect in whatever he does. Even the crappy version of Rocky Horror Picture Show that Fox put on last Halloween.
Aaron Carter was on The Doctors to talk about his health after his DUI arrest last month. One of the things they wanted to find out, is if he is HIV+. Many people think that he is because he is so skinny, and he wanted to find out if he is indeed positive. Turns out he is negative, but the doctors told him that his immune system is so compromised that he needs to make it healthier or something simple can make him very sick. Will he heed their warning? We do not know.
According to TMZ, they say the show asked him to go to rehab to better himself and he refused. There is video of them to talking to him about it and he seems to say he is too busy to go. Which I think he should reconsider. His health is more important than a tour.
Back in May, ABC announced that they hired Katy Perry to be a judge on American Idol. Now almost 4 months later, they have not hired anyone else to sit next to her. According to TMZ, time is running out to find the other 2 judges and it might cost them their $25 million girl.
TMZ says that they are just weeks away from filming the auditions with the judges and they need judges to film those auditions. If they do not find anyone to sit next to her, then they might have to delay filming and Perry is already committed to her tour. That means they might have to lose her if they cannot find any other judges to fill those seats. If they lose her, then they will have more money to pay the likes of Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. The latter is reportedly balking at his $6 million offer and who can blame him? I think he is worth more than Perry. Country does better with Idol’s viewers and he is still hot while her career is starting cool.
Even though, it sounds like Idol is in trouble. This is not the first time, they have gone this late to find judges and it all worked out in the end. They have also had guest judges during the audition phase and they can do that again. Letting Perry continue her tour and still remain with the singing competition. It is all not dim at this stage.
But in general it is. But we will talk about that, once we know what shows it is against and what other reality shows ABC is planning on airing in the Spring. Two factors that will definitely hurt the show that no one was asking for to return so quickly but ABC.
Selena Gomez has been very open about her battle with Lupus and now she revealed a complication she had to endure because of it. Over the Summer, she needed to get a kidney transplant and her friend Francia Raisa, who starred in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, gave the singer one of hers. Gomez shared a message about the life-saving operation and gratitude on Instagram.
I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made. Hopefully the transplant will ease some of her Lupus symptoms.
She is not the only young actor to receive a kidney, Sarah Hyland got a kidney from her father back in 2012. Tracy Morgan and George Lopez also went through the same organ transplant before both actresses. As did the late Gary Coleman.
