Two weeks ago, NBC announced their Fall schedule and they said This Is Us was moving to Thursdays at 10p. Then today, they decided to move it back to Tuesdays at 9p. Due to the scheduling change, Chicago Fire gets a new day and time period for the first time in its run. It is moving to Thursdays to 10p. Personally, I think that they should have kept Fire at 10p on Tuesdays and moved Law & Order: True Crime and Chicago Med to Thursdays at 10p. But what do I know, I just watch these TV shows and liked them where they were.
What do you think of the changes? I know ABC and CBS are loving it because now How to Get Away with Murder and SWAT are no longer up against TV’s most buzzed about show. Granted, ABC is probably worried for Black-ish and The Mayor, now that they are up against it. When it comes to Fox, I wonder if they are thinking about switching Lethal Weapon to 9p and The Mick and Brooklyn Nine-Nine to 8p. It seems smarter to have their drama go up against the powerhouse as compared to their comedies. Don’t you agree?

Before Julia Roberts was tempting Richard Gere in Pretty Woman, she working her womanly charms on Don Johnson on Miami Vice. She looks the same now as she did when she was 20 in that 1987 episode.

If you love dance, then you are going to love World of Dance that debuts at 10p on NBC tonight. The show pits dancers from all over the World against each other, and only one can win the grand prize of $1 million.
On tonight’s season premiere we see all types of dancers like Ballroom, Contemporary, Beat Boys and Jazz and each one of them will blow you away. So much so, you will want to take dance classes just so you can move just a tiny bit like them.
After each performer shows us why they are there, the judges, Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo, score them on 5 different criteria. Each category, Performance, Technique, Choreography, Creativity and Presentation, is worth 20 points for a total of 100 points from each judge and in order to move to the next round they need to score above an average of 80 points.
On tonight’s show, only one team won’t move on, but all the others will. I don’t agree with with which performer scored the highest score of the night because I thought they were pretty weak. But I did like the judges’ opinions for the most part. In fact, I really liked how the show wasn’t about them unlike Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. Although, Derek Hough needs to tone it down a bit because he is almost as annoying as Nigel Lythgoe and Bruno Tonioli. Ne-Yo gives just enough and J-Lo is tolerable and I normally can’t stand her.
Also on the judges front and this is for the directors, stop showing their reactions during the routines. We want to see the dancers dance and not the judges’ faces. That is my biggest complaint and that says a lot that that is the only one.
Therefore, if you love dance, you will love this show. You will see things you have never seen before in dance and that is hard to do these days.
Back in 1992, Olivia Newton-John battled and beat breast cancer and now, 25 years later, she is doing it again. The singer recently postponed her tour due to back pain and today she revealed the real cause of the back pain on Facebook today.
Olivia Newton-John is reluctantly postponing her June U.S. and Canadian concert tour dates. The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum.
In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photon radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.
“I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia,” says Olivia Newton-John.
There will be no interview requests accepted at this time as Olivia’s focus is on her treatment and healing. Ticket buyers for the upcoming concerts should contact venues directly about refunds. Rescheduled concert dates will be posted at OliviaNewton-John.com in the coming weeks.
Hopefully, she will beat it just like she did last time.
For those of you, like me, who don’t know what the sacrum is, here is the definition “a triangular bone in the lower back formed from fused vertebrae and situated between the two hipbones of the pelvis.”
