Dance Moms has been in the news recently and not for the reason they want. First in late March, Abby Lee Miller unexpectedly quit the show and people were thinking it would be over without her. Then a few days later, they hired Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke to replace her and things were looking up.
That was until this Saturday when Nia Sioux posted some stuff on Social Media alluding to the fact that the show was over for the girls, the moms and her with the dates 2011-2017. She even took to Twitter to say, “Such an emotional day😢” The dancer wasn’t the only one, Kalani Hilliker Tweeted, “Don’t be sad that it’s over be happy it happened.” One of the moms even got into the action when recent returnee Christi Lukasiak said on Instagram, “April 9, 2011/April 15, 2017. I’ve watched this young woman grow up before my very eyes and I had the experience of a lifetime. No one will ever understand how things really happened except the people who lived it, so I am so grateful for everyone who I got to share this with: cast, crew, and family. And for all of you out there who I have never met, but you root for these girls like their your own, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Just a mom of two beautiful blondes, from Pittsburgh.”
Sounds like that is the end of Dance Moms, right? Well Executive Producer Bryan Stinson Tweeted, “That’s a wrap on season 7. 208 hours of Dance Moms programming. Season 7 was heaven. Season 8 will be gr8t #DanceMoms”
Therefore, what is the deal? We don’t know. But Lifetime would be foolish to continue the show without them. Three words why it won’t work, Dance Moms Miami.
After last year’s Tonys, it seemed like James Corden would be a shoe in to host the awards show again this year. Shockingly, he won’t be back. But, I love the new MC that CBS has choosen! It is Kevin Spacey. That’s right, he is swimming with the sharks of the Great White Way on June 11th.
I think he is a brilliant choice, but how does he feel about it? He said, “I was their second choice for ‘Usual Suspects,’ fourth choice for ‘American Beauty’ and 15th choice to host this year’s Tony Awards. I think my career is definitely going in the right direction.” The he continued with, “Maybe I can get shortlisted to host the Oscars if everyone else turns it down.” I have been thinking he should host Hollywood’s biggest night, so I am thrilled to see what he does with Broadway’s. What do you think of the choice?
Paige (Bella Thorne) is a college student, who dreams of some day of being an actress. Her friend Cassandra (Georgie Flores) has the same dream. Therefore, when she hears that they are having open call auditions for the movie based hottest book series out there, Cass convinces her roommate to go with her and try out. The two girls audition but only Paige gets a call back. Not only does she get a call back, she gets the role. Now this simple girl, who has never acted before, is being thrust into to spotlight on Famous In Love tonight at 9p on Freeform. She is not prepared for everything that comes with it.
Paige’s co-star is Rainer (Carter Jenkins) and the 21 year old had a drinking problem. He is fresh out of rehab and he’s still getting over the fact that his best friend and girlfriend hooked up. To make matters worse for him, Jordan (Keith Powers) and Tangey (Pepi Sonuga) have also been cast in the film and they still have feelings for each other. They don’t want to act on it because of Rainer, but since they both have mother issues, they can’t help but fight this feeling. Rainer also has mommy issues, to go with the BFF and GF issues.
Rainer also has feelings for Paige, but she has been crushing on her other roommate Jake (Charlie DePew), who is an aspiring screenwriter. He also has feelings for her, but neither one has told the other one how they feel.
While Paige is getting interest from her co-star, Jake is getting it from her now rival Alexis (Niki Koss). Alexis, is an established actress, who was also up for Paige’s role. She didn’t get it and now she hates Paige. When Alexis meets Jake, she finds out about his screenplay and gives it to a producer to read. The producer loves it so much, he want to turn it into a movie.
Everything seems to be working out for all of them, but not everything is as it seems. One has a murderous past, one is about to find out who their real father is, one of them will be fired from the film, one of them works as a topless maid on the side and one of them has been lying to everyone about their sexuality.
If that doesn’t get you to watch, then how about an amazing season finale episode filled with sex, lies, a murder and a question finally being asked to wrap it all up. See don’t you want to watch it tonight and binge the rest of the season starting tomorrow on the Freeform app? I thought you would!

Believe it or not, they are rally are doing nasty. Some don’t remember how they did it and yet there was one guy who had it earlier in the day.
