For the first time since Fox launched and has aired the Super Bowl, they are finally airing a program after the game that fans will tune in to see. On February 5th, 24: Legacy, the much anticipated followup series, will debut and I bet you it will keep most of the audience. Unlike when Fox aired The X-Files, Family Guy and The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons and American Dad, House, Glee, and New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It is definitely a much better choice than CBS’s decision last year of airing The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
You have to know your audience and 24: Legacy is perfect for fans of the biggest game of the year. Everyone is full of testosterone (including women) after the football game and this action drama is a D!ck Flick on the small screen. Just like chips and dip, these two go hand in hand!
Michael Chiklis has had an amazing career filled with comedies, family television and dramas, but one show was so hard on him he doesn’t know if he could do it again.
When he was asked if he would do another season of American Horror Story on Larry King Now, he told the Ora TV host, “Probably not.” Then he explained, “I mean that was one of the darkest years of my career. It is one thing to do a Horror film, in the context of like two months or something like that. But to live in that for 6 months.”
This is coming from a man who spent 5 years as The Commish, 6 years in the very gritty The Shield and over a year on Gotham. The Shield was so violent for me, I watched one episode and never ever went back. Yet he feels AHS was, “so dark and so nasty.”
The show creeped him out so much that for the first time in his career, he did not watch the final product. After watching a few episodes, he chose not to watch any more.
Which says a lot to me, especially since I though American Horror Story: Freak Show was the tamest one of the series so far. Although, his Strong Man was really messed up and took part in some really awful scenes. I guess now that I think about it, I can see where he is coming from with his thoughts.
I will say this about Chiklis, he truly is one of the greatest and most diverse actors on television. He has played the spectrum and each role is completely different. My favorite one, No Ordinary Family ended way too early because that was a gem of a show that ABC didn’t realize they had.

This Is Us is the most loved new show and episodes like the one that airs tonight at 9p on NBC is why.
Before Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) had kids, they were just a married couple who weren’t sure they wanted them. They were still learning about each other and Rebecca wanted to know more about her husband loves. He loves football and she asks him to teach her about the game. The two bond over the game and they talk about the prospect of kids. Something she does not want. As we know, something will happen that will leave her pregnant with triplets and tonight you will find out what that is.
Rebecca wasn’t the only female in the Pearson family who loves the pig skin, Kate (Chrissy Metz) also has a fondness for it and likes to watch the game by herself. Her boyfriend (Chris Sullivan) wants to share in the experience with her, but he screws it up big time. A revelation that will cause him to finally meet her father.
Talking about fathers, Kevin (Justin Hartley) moves in with Randall (Sterling K Brown) and his family and they can’t wait for him to get out. Before Kevin gets his own place, the Manny takes care of his nieces. He might’ve taken good care of kids when it was scripted for him, but in real life he sucks.
How awful is he? You will just have to tune into this show that makes you love it more and more ever week.
