Taylor Lautner might have the most epic first pitch fail!
June 9th, 2016 under Taylor Lautner, Twilight. [ Comments: none ]

Less than 24 hours after Snoop Dogg totally missed home plate when he threw out the first pitch at the San Diego Padres game yesterday, looks like what Taylor Lautner did was even worse when he was slated to do the same thing at the Los Angeles Dodgers game. He royally stuck out, when he showed up late to the game. How late? The game wasn’t in its Twilight, it was straight out over. So over, everyone went home and sprinklers were on. Heck even the werewolves were turning back into the human form, that is how late he was.
On a positive note, at least he is very early for the next game.

Winsanity is pure insanity!
June 9th, 2016 under Donald Faison, Game Show Network. [ Comments: none ]

You can’t spell Winsanity without insanity and this GSN game show that debuts tonight at 9p is just that!
Each week, Donald Faison is going to ask contestants to put facts in order of numeric value. If they place all 10 facts from 4 different categories in the correct order, then not only do they win a lot of awesome prizes like a car and a lot money, the audience also wins some great prizes. If they don’t, then they go home with what they came in with. Which is nothing. So the contestants have a lot of pressure on them and it is insanity.
It sounds like it is easy, but it isn’t. I tried guessing along with them and I have just as many prizes as I did before I watched the show. While it isn’t easy, it is fun. Plus, you don’t have to be a genius to win, you just have to be an excellent guesser! Which I am not.
When it comes the host, why hasn’t been Faison been doing this all along. He is far from Clueless with the way interacts with the contestants and the audience!
So tune in tonight and every Thursday at 9p for a game show that is more than a numbers game. Oh wait, that is all it is!

Dan Aykroyd explains how the Stay Puft Marshmallow came about!
June 9th, 2016 under Bill Murray, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY3aL9omppE
When you were a kid and you saw Ghostbusters, did you wonder what was the inspiration behind the lovable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? I know I did! Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the man who used his white stuff (brain not sperm, what were you thinking) revealed how he helped with the birthing process. Ray Stantz explained, “I was looking for something in my childhood that was innocent in the movie.” So he told his friends John Daveikis and Michael Gross, “To marry the Pillsbury Dough Boy, the Michelin Tire Man and Angelas Marshmallow Man and put them all together.” What we got was a huge huggable looking sailor that is still as popular today as he was then.
And talking about things that are just as popular now, Ray Parker Jr sang the Ghostbusters theme song as the original and new cast members danced to it on the ABC talk show. Bill Murray was the only one who went wild throughout the whole tune, which is why I know the new version is going to suck. If those ladies can’t even dance to Who You Gonna Call, how are they are going to do the franchise justice? I don’t have a problem with an all female version of the movie. I have a problem with Paul Feig turning it Bridesmaids 2. He does the same thing over and over again with the same cast and I am over it. Let him destroy his own movies and not ours!

Snoop Dogg’s first pitch goes to shiznit
June 9th, 2016 under Snoop Dogg. [ Comments: none ]

Snoop Dogg threw the first pitch at the San Diego Padres game yesterday and it was just like him, high. I guess you can’t teach old doggs new tricks, like how to throw a ball since they are so used to catching. Seriously, has anyone seen a dogg pitch before this? I think not.
Now some say, Snoop’s pitch was worse than 50 Cent’s and I disagree. Snoop’s was more on the money.
Hey networks, I got a brilliant reality show, forget Lip Sync Battle, let’s do First Pitch Battle. The first one to get the baseball into the Catcher’s mitt wins! Although that show might go on for weeks if it between Fiddy and Snoop!

Do you think Ed Sheeran’s Photograph sounds like Matt Cardle’s Amazing?
June 9th, 2016 under Ed Sheeran. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Ed Sheeran’s Photograph has been out for 2 years, the people who wrote Matt Cardle’s Amazing back in 2009 are suing him now for $20 million because they say the red head’s song sounds a lot like their tune. Eire Creative put both songs together in a video and you can hear the similarities.
If you were the Judge, then how would you rule?
Talking about judging, don’t judge Matt Cardle. He took to Twitter and said, “Please read news articles closely. This is not my lawsuit. I think @edsheeran is a genius & 100% deserves all his success 🙏🏽❤️ X.”
Back to that Amazing Photograph, I wonder if the lawsuit will wind up the same way it did for Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby and Queen and David Bowie’s Under Pressure. I am fan of both songs and it does take me a few beats until I can tell the difference between the two hits from the last century. To me their lawsuit was much stronger than the one that Marvin Gaye’s family had over Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines. We know which case got a much higher verdict (the latter), it will be interesting to see if Amazing Photograph will top that one.
