Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there who let their little girls put makeup on them and showed their sons how to shave!
Thank you for being happy when we bought a you the ugliest tie and funkiest cologne for Father’s Day and acting like it is the best gift ever.
Thank you most importantly for being you!
Dr. Kate Lawrence (Vanessa Marcil) shares relationship advice via her blog and on TV, and she is about to get a book offer but there are things she has to do to get it. She has huge news to share with her fans, she is getting married Bryan. Just as they are about to announce their big news, he tells her that they are breaking up because he has been seeing someone else. Now she is going to disappoint everyone and lose her book deal because she doesn’t have a fiance’ to share with them.
That’s when her former childhood friend Lucas Wright (David Sutcliffe), who she no longer talks to, steps in to be the The Convenient Groom. Tonight at 9p on the Hallmark Channel the two of them will pretend to be a loving couple who is putting on a quickie wedding, hoping that no one will find out that they are faking their relationship. Will they be able to get away with it? Will these ex-friends become more than friends? Has she found her Mr Wright?
You have to tune in for a feel good movie that teaches you just because you give relationship advice, doesn’t mean you know everything about love.
Here’s my advice to you, you are going to love The Convenient Groom so don’t miss it tonight.

Tonight at 8p on Lifetime, James Franco decided to resurrect the telemovie Mother May I Sleep with Danger with a twist. This time Tori Spelling is the mom and her daughter Leah (Leila George) is the one sleeping with danger. Leah is dating a woman from her school, who has a secret. Pearl is a Vampire (Emily Meade). The other Vamps want Pearl to turn Leah, but she refuses to do it.
Will Pearl tell Leah her secret? Will Leah let Pearl turn her? Will Spelling let her daughter sleep with danger?
I would tell you tune in to find out, but it really isn’t worth it. If you are going to take a premise and screw with it like they did. then you need to be in on the joke. They weren’t. They tried to make a serious movie, but it comes off as an unfunny joke that is torturous to watch. I like crap TV, but this isn’t even good crap TV. It is just crap.
When we think of Freddie Prinze Jr, we think of him as an actor. Turns out he is also a really good chef and he just released a cookbook called Back to the Kitchen.
Since the book just came out, he is doing press for it and yesterday he stopped by to talk to Conan O’Brien. The TBS late night host wanted know how the recipe for Stalker Pasta got its name. Prinze Jr told him, “I am going to leave the actor’s name out of it, to protect them. But I made a dish on a movie, a long time ago, and the sauce was so good, I am blaming the sauce, was so good, that this person really had a crush on me. And literally when I moved, they would move. And I moved again and they moved again.” Then he added, “When my wife (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and I started dating there would be a car on my street. And when we would have a good night smooch…lights, boom!…And we would both freak out. Then the car would zip down and park in the driveway. Where they moved. Like I wouldn’t know who that was?”
So is it an actor or actress who stalked him, he wouldn’t say. So who do we think it is? Let’s see, he started dating his wife in 2000, so it had to be someone he worked with before that. Could it Parker Posey or Rachel Leigh Cook, who he worked with again in She’s All That, from The House of Yes? Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Phillippe or Johnny Galecki from I Know you were stalking me, I mean, I Know What You Did Last Summer? Brandy or Jennifer Esposito from the sequel? Matthew Lillard or Saffron Burrows from Wing Commander? Anna Paquin, Dule Hill or Gabrielle Union from She’s All That? Or none of the above? We don’t know!
What we do know is that he included it because, “I think everyone deserves their own stalker, so that’s why I put the recipe in the book. So enjoy!” And now I am off to buy that book and the needed ingredients because I really need stalker. Heck, I will even take any guy, who is interested in me just for that night, I cooked him Stalker Pasta!

While all of the other broadcast networks will be bringing back their shows in September, The CW’s shows won’t be back until October. It stinks that we have to wait an extra few weeks, but they do say good things come to those who wait.
No Tomorrow is the first new show of theirs to debut and I have a feeling it was originally going to air before Jane the Virgin. But then when they acquired Supergirl at the last minute, they moved it Tuesdays. I say this because it is a weird fit with The Flash. As we learned when Barry Allen ran on to then CBS show, those two shows work really well together.
Frequency debuts the next night and you are going to love this show. At least I do.
The thing I am saddest about, is that we have to wait until October 21st to hear a new song from Rachel Bloom. I need my next Heavy Boobs and I Gave You A UTI now. I am going through withdraw.
