There are certain holidays that Jimmy Kimmel Live likes to destroy for people like Halloween, April Fool’s Day and Father’s Day and yesterday was no exemption. The ABC late night host asked his viewers to surprise their dads in the shower with breakfast. He asked the offspring to serve it him in there, and many of them threw it on their sperm donors. To say the naked men weren’t happy would be an understatement.
Out of all the viral dares that JKL has done throughout the years, I think this one is the worst. Not in as it’s so bad, it’s funny. But as in it totally didn’t work and was just mean. Did you think it was funny or plain cruel?
Before Kobe Bryant was one the top players in the NBA getting tons of endorsement deals, he was just a Rookie in the NBA guest starring on TNBC’s Hang Time. You could totally tell the 19 year old was going to be a star from that 1997 episode.
BTW here is Anthony Anderson telling Jimmy Kimmel how he asked Kobe to guest star on the show, and who he had to ask to get the legendary basketball player to do it.
This Saturday, James Wolk and his longtime fiancee, Jae Lynch, said I do in Santa Monica in front of their family and friends.
A few weeks ago at the CBS Studios Summer Press Day, the star of CBS’ upcoming suspenseful drama, Zoo, talked about his then upcoming nuptials. He said that planning it up until that point had “been busy but good.” There was no fighting between the two of them over the planning because he let her do whatever she wanted. Looking at the brand new Mr & Mrs dancing during their big day, it is obvious he made the right choice by letting her Wolk, I mean work, her magic.
To see him in the much anticipated James Paterson’s Zoo, mark your calendars for June 30th at 9p because that is when it will come roaring on to our televisions.
BTW if you are looking for a truly excellent movie to watch on a lazy Saturday day, you must check out Front of the Class. The amazing heartfelt movie is about a teacher with Tourette’s Syndrome that no wants to hire. He is so brilliant in it, I can’t believe he didn’t at least get an Emmy nomination for it, even though he deserved the win.

Last weekend, someone at Fox and Friends thought it would be a good idea to give co-host Pete Hegseth an axe and they were highly mistaken. He swung the ax and completely missed the bullseye. In fact it flew over the board and hit one of the drummers from West Point’s Hellcats, who was performing behind it, on the arm. The drummer was in so much pain, he had to walk away. No word if he will ever be able to beat it again. The drum I mean.
When it comes to the bullseye, I bet he would have hit had it had President Obama’s face on it. I would ask the Little Drummer Boy to give me a bah da bump, but like I said, I am not sure if ever will be able to play the skins again.
Poor Little Drummer Boy, what are we going to do when it is Christmas? Fox News ruined Christmas.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nACuDkSFASg NBC announced today when their falls shows are premiering and I am not happy they are messing with Chicago Fire. That is the bad news, the good news is it looks like Neil Patrick Harris’ variety show is in trouble because they moved it up to before the scheduled start of the fall season, so they can get rid of it earlier. The move makes sense because the Oscars were his career’s death nail. I realize it wasn’t fully his fault, but he didn’t save them either. If the Academy Awards were his idea of variety, it didn’t win over America.
When it comes to the rest of the shows, People are Talking will be lucky to make it December the comedy is premiering in mid-October and most shows (minus Grimm) fail if the debut that late. Why am I not saying that about Chicago Med? Because that is a spinoff of Fire, Med and SVU, so I expect a big crossover launch for it.
What night are you most excited for? I can’t wait to have my Heroes back and to watch the cast of Undateable do the unthinkable every week and go live! I hope they can handle the hour because I wouldn’t be surprised that when People are Talking gets cancelled NBC asks them to do that every week.
