The actress/comedian spent 61 years married to her comedy partner Jerry Stiller and even longer making us laugh. The two of them brought their act to the talk shows of the ’60s and ’70s. They worked together and they worked apart. Her TV resume included Archie Bunker’s Place, Rhoda, Alf, All My Children and Sex and the City, and her films include Fame, Reality Bites and Night at the Museum. The projects she was most proud of were her children Amy and Ben Stiller.

Sting was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon brought out the Ragtime Girls to sing one of his former band’s biggest songs, Roxanne. Whoever thought the classic song would work in that tempo, but it does.
BTW is just me or does Sting’s stupid bushy beard make him look more bald than he already is?
We know that Simon Cowell loves his black jeans and white shirts and turns out his son Eric feels the same way. Who ever would’ve thought that he would be the cutest dad, but he is!
When The Human Centipede came out in 2006, people couldn’t get over the movie by Dutch filmmaker Tom Six. The world was shocked about the concept. Even though they are baffled by it, they were also intrigued. Begrudgingly they watched it to find out what all the chatter was about. The more and more people who went to see it, the more popular it became. Since its initial release, it has had two sequels, a cult following and many parodies including South Park, Conan O’Brien, a p0rn version called The Human Sextipede and Key and Peele.
If you are like me, then you want to know more about how this cult franchise from the artist himself. On Tuesday, I had the chance to talk to its creator, Tom Six and his sister, Ilona Six, who is his co-partner in Six Entertainment Company.
Let’s go back to beginning, what type of childhood did they have to come up with such a twisted movie? Ilona let her older brother answer that one. He said, “We were the victims of a happy childhood. We were raised very sweet and everything. We had nice cats. It was all fun. That made us mad, I think.” Then she chimed in, “You made me mad.” He explained how, “I made her mad. I prepared her for the business. I showed her horror films and all kinds of films like that when she was very underage. She still has a trauma from it.”
Now that we know how they started out, how did he come up with the idea for this movie? He shared the origin with me, “When I was watching television a story about a child molester came on. He was very nasty individual and he was given a very low punishment. I was very angry about it and I said as a joke to people they should stitch his mouth to the anus of a fat truck driver. That would be the proper punishment, don’t you think?” Then he continued, “That idea kept lingering in my head and I thought that would be a great idea for a horror film. People haven’t seen that before. Then from the idea to the end of making the film was quite a journey. It was pretty intense.”
How has this insane ride been for them, he said, “We are living the dream. We created something. You hope it spreads like a virus and it did. It’s like a very very aggressive virus. They are talking about it in Japan, Australia and that gave us the possibility to make more films and be taken seriously, very seriously. I had the opportunity to work with amazing great actors.â€
They will have the chance to work with many more great actors in the future. He shared with me, “Ilona and I are working on different films now and we are taking it slow. We are writing and doing things.†Then he added, “We keep making films that are original and exploring the dark side of humanity. People were born evil and I like to explore that. Always with pitch black, dark comedy elements to it for the people that see it.â€
Before people see those others films, The Human Centipede is completing its run in theaters, OnDemand and online streaming sites as you read this with The Human Centipede 3: The Final Sequence. How does he feel that about reaching the end of the centipede? He said, “It’s kind of sad, but we have to continue to create more art. These 3 movies, they make a movie centipede. They can be connected and form one four and half hour movie, that is the fun part of it. So we move on.â€
They might move on for this franchise, but we never will. The Human Centipedes have left a mark in movie history that can never be erased.

On Monday, I attended the CBS Studios Summer Press Day, and the EP of Zoo said they want us to be afraid of our Schnauzers. Well, I am already afraid of my cat, and after watching this video I am even more afraid of her. Maybe the revolt of the animals has already started?
Seriously though, how meovelous is this video? I mean does anyone blame the cat for doing what they did? I do the same thing when I babysit, I just don’t videotape it because the evidence can be used against me. Joking, their cabinets are too full for me to do that.
