Many of us can agree that Benedict Cumberbatch is yummy, and now he literally is. That’s because UKTV Play, a new drama channel, created an 88lbs life-size chocolate version of Sherlock Holmes to promote the launch of their network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 2,000 people were asked who is Britain’s Dishiest Dramatic Actor and he beat out David Tennant, Sean Bean and Damian Lewis for title. Out of that group, I say they were correct.
So how hard was it to make the smooth actor become smooth chocolate? It took 8 people, 250 hours to mold the 500 melted Belgium chocolate bars into the delicious man that he is.
The delectable statute will be displayed tomorrow. No word who gets to eat him, but I would love to take a bite out of that! That is if he spends more time melting hearts instead of just melting.

Joe Jonas took to Twitter yesterday to tell the world that Hailee Steinfeld and him are expecting their first child together. The middle Jonas Brother even posted a sonogram of their “baby”. Only thing is that they made the announcement on April Fool’s Day, so we don’t know if he is really going to be a first time father. I am leaning towards thinking he was pranking us, but then again what better day to tell the truth but on the day that everyone lies? Do think he was telling the he is going to be the new Papa Joe?
UPDATE: I asked him about this at the NBC Summer Press Day, where he was talking about I Can Do That that debuts May 26th on NBC, and he said that he is not going to be a father…yet. The Tweet was an April Fool’s Day joke. The reason why he never Tweeted that they are not expecting is because it got too late.

Katie Couric is a guest on The Late Late Show tonight and she decided to play an April Fool’s Day joke on James Corden. The newscaster wanted to make an entrance, so she did it by coming down the stairs. As soon as she stepped out, she tripped and fell down them and laid there on the ground as though she was gravely hurt. Scaring the audience and the host immensely.
Turns out she didn’t fall down the steps, instead it was her stunt double.
So for a few seconds, we got to think it was her lying on the floor. It wasn’t. And that joke was not funny in so many ways.
Oh well, at least we can take comfort that she is no longer on television so we don’t have to look at her fake smile. She really thought showing her teeth would make us like her, and it never ever worked on me. Did it work on you?
