Bill Cosby is guilty, guilty, guilty!
April 26th, 2018 under Bill Cosby. [ Comments: none ]

After years of many many many accusations from many many many women, Bill Cosby was found guilty on three counts related to the drugging and sexually assaulting of Andrea Constand almost 18 years ago in his house according to MSNBC. Those counts are penetration with lack of consent, penetration while unconscious, and penetration after administering an intoxicant. Each count brings a maximum 10-year sentence. Since he is a first time offender, he will probably do less than 2 years, but at 80-years-old that could be a life sentence.

It will be interesting to see how this verdict will affect all of the many many many other cases against him. Hopefully, their cases will be considered stronger now and they will have a better chance of winning.

Although, he can appeal this verdict. It will be interesting to see if he does. Which we all assume he will do because he still claims to be innocent of all of the many many many sexual assault claims against him.

Before Gilbert Gottfried was doing Bill Cosby impressions as part of his act, he guest starred on The Cosby Show. How funny was the 31 year old in that 1987 episode?

Keshia Knight Pulliam would be disappointed but still love Bill Cosby if guilty
June 14th, 2017 under Bill Cosby, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Keshia Knight Pulliam was on Today today and they asked how she would feel about Bill Cosby, whom she accompanied on his first day of court, if he is found guilty of sexual assault. She told Craig Melvin, “I’ll be disappointed, however it won’t change the love. Because when you have family, people falter, people makes mistakes, things happen. But in no way condoning sexual assault.”

She again told them as a mother of a girl she cannot condone that act and reminded them that her TV father is a husband, a father and a son.

I get that, but according to the claims it was not just one woman. It was around 50 females. That is not faltering or making mistake. That is getting away with a crime and keep on committing it because they can. I could not and would not love someone I knew that committed that crime. Could you?

Keshia Knight Pulliam shows up with Bill Cosby to his trial
June 5th, 2017 under Bill Cosby. [ Comments: 1 ]

While everyone has distanced themselves from Bill Cosby, Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played his daughter on The Cosby Show, actually showed up to court with him today. The two of them smiled as they walked side by side to his first day of the trial, and we are not smiling with them. I know we have convicted him before the trial has even started but it is hard not to with all of the evidence.

According to People, Phylicia Rashad, who played his wife on The Cosby Show and Cosby, will also make an appearance at some point during the trial. I do not get how his female co-stars could support with all of the allegations, but that is me.

The Carmichael Show brilliantly takes on Bill Cosby
March 13th, 2016 under Bill Cosby, The Carmichael Show. [ Comments: 1 ]

Last year, The Carmichael Show was my favorite new show and it was one of the last ones to debut. Tonight at 9p on NBC, it is back for its second season and it is even better than it was last year.
Tonight, they take on Bill Cosby and show us every side of the issue. By the end of the episode you will understand why people are still going to see him and why others are not.
Before we get to the end, let’s start with the beginning. Jerrod (Jerrod Carmichael) decided to surprise his girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West) with tickets to a comedy show; but when she finds out it is for Bill Cosby, she refuses to go because of the allegations. He still wants to see the show, so he asks his parents if they want to go. His mom (Loretta Devine) and dad (David Alan Grier) are all excited to go, until Maxine tries to convince her future mother-in-law not to go. They ask the question, how many women is it OK to allegedly rape before you turn on an idol.
Now, they are torn on what to do, so they ask for a neutral opinion from Jerrod’s ex-sister-in-law Nekeisha (Tiffany Haddish). She has no idea what is going on with Bill Cosby, so they give her his Wikipedia page to read. Which makes things even more complicated.
Will anyone go to see Bill Cosby or will they all wind up going? You just have to tune in to find out.
The thing I absolutely adore about The Carmichael Show is they take on controversial issues, and show all sides of the story. They are less bias than the news these day and more informative. Plus, you are laughing with them and not at them like you are at news networks.
I can’t say enough good things about this sitcom, so I implore you to check out the best new comedy in a really really long time.
