If you thought it was shocking when Elena became a Vampire on The Vampire Diaries, that is nothing as compared to what the actress who plays her revealed today. Nina Dobrev announced that she is leaving The CW show at the end of the season.
She posted the below message on Instagram:
Dearest TVD Family,
I’ve just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn’t just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena’s story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there’s still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I’ll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever.
I think this is a really smart decision on her part. The Degrassi beauty has a huge career ahead of her and now she is free to do movies and other television shows. She has the potential to be the next Sarah Michelle Gellar and Katie Holmes.
When it comes to the drama, it will be interesting to see how they handle her departure and if they can go on without her? I am not sure that they can, but other shows have survived without their leads like ER, NYPD Blue and CSI to name a few.

Andrew and Melissa’s wedding was going off as planned, until he was asked to say he was going to take her as his lawfully wedded wife. That’s because he said, waffle instead of lawfully.
So future Grooms of the World here’s the moral of the story, make sure to eat before you walk down the aisle or she won’t be making you breakfast anytime soon.
BTW better she laugh when you are saying I do in front of Gd and not just before she is supposed to say, “Oh Gd” repeatedly.
I am assuming that Anne Hathaway wants to make us like her again, so she is going to appear on Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle this Thursday at 10p. The failed Oscar host is going to mouth Miley Cyrus’ words. I hate to admit it, but she nails Wrecking Ball. I just hope that Emily Blunt does a better job than her, and wins the night.
To say that Lindsay Lohan has been seen in a weird photo or two would be an understatement; and the one she posted this weekend might be the weirdest one of them all.
