We are days away from the release of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and NBC late night thought it would be fun to have men read from the book.
Jimmy Fallon started it off on The Tonight Show by reading lines from the book in different accents with Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan.
Once we were done hearing their fake accents it was time for Late Night with Seth Meyers to take it to the streets of Manhattan and have several men there read from the best selling book since the bible. Their expressions as they say each word aloud is better than anything that can happen in the movie. Although, probably not as funny as anything that will happen in the film that has 20 minutes of sex.

Two weeks ago, Gwyneth Paltrow made headlines when she told women all over the world to get their vaginas steamed. Well Whitney Cummings listened and she took FunnyOrDie along for the ride. A long steamy ride that there is not enough steam in the world to ever make it go away from our memories. Even though Tia and Tamara Mowry made the V-Steam sound like it was worth it; after seeing Cummings get it, I won’t be.
You know who I feel most sorry for? Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs because you know she is going to write an episode about them getting it done on 2 Broke Girls.
On Monday night, Anderson Cooper is hosting a game show on CNN and his contestants are other anchors on the Cable News Network. They are Jake Tapper and Alisyn Camerota; John Berman and Erin Burnett; and Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon, and for some reason they didn’t ask Wolf Blitzer to be part of it. What are they thinking, he was so great on Jeopardy. Maybe they are thinking Don Lemon will be just as bad because, I mean, when was the last time he said something that wasn’t seen as stupid by a lot people?
Seriously, I don’t know what CNN is thinking. What if their star anchors don’t know anything about the past Presidents on Quiz Show? We are less than two years from a Presidential election and if they do as well as Blitzer did on Jeopardy, than to me I think that anchor or anchors will be less credible than Brian Williams.
For years, we have only be hearing from the anti-Vaxxers and why they don’t vaccinate their kids. In recent weeks, a measles outbreak that started at Disneyland has caused the people who get their kids vaccinated to speak up and have their voices heard.
It has gone as far as the late night hosts talking about, and tonight Conan O’Brien took it to a whole new level of getting on a Soap Box and letting his voice be heard via comedy. His people on the TBS show created a Daycare where kids with and without vaccines can play as one.
They say truth comes in humor and there was a lot of humor in this bit.
While I try not to get political on my blog, I believe in vaccinations. It is not only your kid you are putting at risk from spreading a deadly or debilitating preventable disease, you are also putting people who can’t get vaccinations for valid medical reasons at risk. Kids with compromised immune systems due to cancer or transplants. Just something to think about the next time you tell your doctor you don’t want to get your child vaccinated.
